Hotel La Pergola was a bit further out from the center of Rome than I would like to have stayed, but it forced me to utilize the buses, which turned out to be quite a time saver.

I am unable to properly rate this property (hence, all the 7's). When we arrived, we were asked if we would like to transfer to an alternate (sister) hotel, as they believed it would be more to our liking. We were driven to this location by a staff member and we did find the alternate hotel to our liking.

The bathroom was very tiny and the mixer tap was broken. However, when I mentioned this to the man at the front desk, he said he would get a plumber in to fix it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in directing us to where we wanted to go.
