Hotel & Service (Room & Restrauant) Staff were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were discourteous, couldn't be bothered talking with you, often left you waiting at reception while they played with paperwork and when they acknolegded you it was abrupt and unfriendly as if you werre distractibg them from "real work". ONly one lady volunteered infomration, the rest of the staff especially the men gave you one-liners and no hints.

I made a reservation at this hotel in January 2007. My reservation was confirmed a week before our arrival. I even had them arrange for a 'car' to pick us up at the airport. However when we arrived, after a 20 hour travel/flight, we were told that they had 'overbooked' and were sending us to another hotel in the area. We were too tired to argue with them but were horribly disappointed at this turn of events. I've never had this treatment before from any hotel that we've visited.

A good, well appointed, four star hotel with all the mod-cons although in need of minor redecoration in some areas. Situated on via Aurelia, a sort of circular road around Rome it is within 20 mins of both airports. Getting into Rome was easy using the courtesy bus that runs almost hourly (15 minute trip) with a last pickup from central Rome at 23:30. Swimming pool was nice to come back to after a days sight-seeing. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare.

very good business hotel for a good price, about 5 miles out of the center of rome (vatikan). The big sport pool (25m) is good for cooling down on a hot roman day. Regular (every hour) bus shuttle to center of town, if you miss it a taxi will cost araound 10 euro. There are restaurants in the hotel, but the real italien style you will find in the city. the hotel is close to the highway but the noise protection is good. Would stay at this hotel on my next trip to rome to.

Our stay at the Hotel Jolly Midas Rome was very disappointing. Our triple room was really a double with a cot rolled in making what small spare room we had even smaller. The patio door locked hence no fresh air. The pool was off limits as signs stated "closed for maintenance' but in the 5 days we were there no workman on site. Could not even sit on grass near pool. The staff were unhelpful, uninformed and disinterested in their guests. The shuttle service to the city was unreliable, the driver was a lunatic. Had to pay for taxi several times when shuttle left before designated times.

Professional from start to finish and impressed with hotel staff. hotel shuttle bus to and from the city was great time and money saver. This was a very pleasant begining to our trip.

the hotel is very nice. Just i heard people of other rooms at night screaming outside and in the early morning noises of workers of hotel. Service is good but when i had dinner i didn't understand what i could eat couse they didn't explane me well

Hotel was as discribed and reasonably clean and tidy. More of a business hotel with regular coach parties using it as a stopover point. Free bus service to and from the city was excellent.
