I've used this hotel for business trips. It's a very simple accomodation; ideal if you are looking for something that is cheap and clean. The rooms are average size. Prices vary greatly (too much!) among different seasons, ranging from €50-130. I consider the low season price as being very good whereas I feel the rooms aren't worth the high season price. The hotel is a bit isolated because it is in a suburban residential area, but bus stops are very close and you can get to the subway in 10 minutes. Breakfast is standard with an average quality. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. There are 2-3 restaurants within walking distance (Taverna Sacchetti, MatoRosso, Il Pinchetto). On the down side : The nearby Gemelli hospital can be the source of noise because of the sirens of the ambulances. A few rooms have a light stench in the bathroom, probably because of bad plumbing.

Room was very tiny but immaculate. Shower doors leaked, but other than that the bathroom was very adequate. The staff neglected to inform us how to activate the electricity and A/C in the room, but that was easily remedied. The map location was vague and the hotel was difficult to find.

I stayed just one night in Sisto. The friendly staff made me feel home right away, and the hotel gave a sense of luxury (relative to the price). The only drawback was the location, I had to take the bus from the subway station to get there.

a little better than average not worth, a 100 dollars a night there are other 3 stars that are closer to the are with more character and better hotel service. The service was really not adequate.

The Sisto V is a reasonably priced three star hotel, worth considering if you're going to Rome and aren't willing to pay the high rates expected by hotels closer to the tourist sites. It's close to the local train station (the line links to the Metro). A definite plus point: friendly staff.
