Overall, we were very pleased. The rooms were small, but that's typical for Rome. The rate was pretty high, but October was peak season. The front desk staff was very helpful. Situated between Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, and safe to walk at night. Close location to the Hop On/Hop Off bus. Four of us stayed in two hotel rooms. There was a window in the bathroom, but the only other "window" was a door, which led to the roof (we were on the 3rd floor). We didn't want to leave the door open at night, so turned on the air conditioning, but it wasn't a very strong unit, and was not working in one of our units, so our rooms were stuffy. Nice restaurants nearby, and a fabulous breakfast arranged each morning with a wonderful woman (Rita?) providing tea/coffee service.

We've been to Milan, Venice, Assisi, Rome and Paris and we've used venere.com to book all the hotels. Sierra is the only one we would not choose again. First the good things. VERY WELL LOCATED! An excellent breakfast! And some of the staff people, particularly Silvestre, were very helpful. On the other hand we were assigned to room 104. You don't wanna stay there... it looks and smells old. It is tiny and its window opens to a dark internal patio. It must remain closed all the times. A picture on the wall stated that the costa was E 180, and we paid E 190... Next time I will look for another hotel in the same area.

The value of this hotel is its location and the nice and friendly staff. The rooms were extremly small ans not very nice. Only Italian TV-channels and poor breakfast. The owners dog had left excrements at the reception and all ower the breakfast room. Not very nice.

Siena hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing, with Trevi and Spagna plus buses and restaurants within a few 100 meters. Our room was exceptionally quiet. Price perhaps a bit high

Hotel Siena provided everything I needed for this sightseeing trip. Convenient location--a few minutes' walk from both Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, a super market and post office just around the corner. Most of reception desk personnel was always in good mood and eager to help. If you were asking for a spacious room or a bath tub, you can find it elsewhere with more money. Hotel Siena has something money cannot buy.

Great location for access to all of central Roma, although it was initially somewhat difficult to find. Very courteous service. The room was in great shape with enough space for minimal time spent in the room. I really enjoyed my stay and would consider returning to Hotel Siena upon a return trip to Roma. Thank you to the staff at Hotel Siena.
