Extremely good location, but small rooms and leaking basin. The breakfast was very poor, mostly sweet cakes. We liked the sheets and shining towels and the helpfull staff.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel and we had been upgrade to a suite with a Jacuzzi. The room was huge and very nicely decorated. The only problems I found was it was very noisy, with guest coming back in the night and the traffic from the road outside. Reception was very friendly and you could not have had a better location.

The hotel was central, the staff were friendly but I hardly slept at all (usually a great sleeper). The traffic outside was noisy but the real problem was the pounding music all day and night from the bar below. If you're going, bring your earplugs!

The hotel location was good -- it was central and convienient for the tourist sights of Rome. The facilities were just short of awful -- lights didn't work, the flush mechanism for the toilet was broken (it was still possible to flush the loo!), there was a hand held shower in a hip bath with neither plug nor shower curtain. The level of cleanliness was OK -- no dust under the bed. Our friends commented that the shower curtain in their bathroom smelled 'stale' and their room was always cold. The emergency exit led to a stairwell blocked with 'acrow' type props holding up the ceiling! The whole place looked as if it hadn't been renovated since the 1950s. The breakfast was limited -- bread rolls, one type of cereal, fruit juice, coffee/tea. And it was expensive in comparison to other European breaks (Bergen, Barcellona, Venice, almost anywhere in Germany, Budapest). Not to be recommended.

The rooms are very small, yet the centrality of the location (together with the price) makes it a very reasonable choice. The water was lukewarm regardless of the tap position, sometimes at a very low pressure. Receptionsts vary from very efficient and multilingual professionals to rather hopeless boys.

Pros: Perfect location within walking distance to all interesting places. Good coffee and breakfast next door. Cons: It seems like the hotel has problems with hot water supply

The best location in Rome, and the stuff is very nice. However there were some major problems: 1. Warm water is sometimes a problem. 2. Air conditioning is central and only after we asked the stuff a couple of times they actually turned it on. 3. The bathroom is very small and not very clean.

No hot water for 2 days and seems that they have no effort to make our stay better.

Advantages: Location and price are very very good for those, who come in Rome for siteseeing. Every place in the city can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes. Disadvantages: no breakfast and asstrays in rooms.

booking x 3 bedded and 2 bedded rooms (latter was a DOUBLE bed) 3 bedded room had no wardrobe space, no shower curtain and was an attic - i.e. no headroom over the beds! Small breakfast area, limited selection, sometimes slow in coming Hotel is careworn and needs a spring clean. Most staff very helpful. Positioning was great but would not stay there again - very disappointed - some bed and breakfast businesses have better standards.

Shower head sprayed on the ceiling rather than downwards, shower floor leaked in to the room and out the door of the room. Window could not be locked and maintenance man didn't seem to want to come and fix it. No remote control for air conditioning and the only way to turn it on was to get the front desk to come up and turn it on. Would never stay there again and would never recommend to anyone.

The entrance is small and easy to miss, but the hotel is perfectly situated right by the Piazza Venezia. Very quick and easy acces by bus from Stazione Termini, the bus stops right outside. But remember to look closely so you don't miss the door ;o)
