Very conveniently located only a few blocks from the main train station and from the Duomo in the center of Florence. The room was exceptionally large for a small European hotel with a sitting area in the room. The in room bathroom was also spacious with the exception of the petite corner shower. With no shelf for soap or room to turn around, the bathtub with a hand held shower was a better bet for washing. Breakfast was set up in a lovely area on the second floor and selection and quality were good. Overall I would recommend the Hotel Julia for convenience and value for the price.

We have returned from a fabulous visit to Rome and were delighted to have chosen to stay at Hotel Julia. It is centrally located on a quiet side street but within a few minutes walk of Trevi Fountain and just a bit longer to the Spanish Steps. The rooms were spotless - and available earlier than the advertised check-in time which was useful to enable us to start our site seeing. The hotel is 3* and does not have a gym or other facilities but we would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for reasonably priced accommodation with an ample breakfast and very informative and helpful reception staff.

This hotel overall was great. It was the first time ever in Rome let alone at this hotel. Great location. Great staff. The hotel rooms are small but because we were never there it didnt matter just as long as it had AC which it did. The Trevi Fontain is right down the street along with the Colosseum and Pantheon. Then up the street is Via Veneto & the Metro. So we couldnt have picked a better spot for 8 nights. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Julia was a lovely hotel. Location of the hotel is fantastic - to be 2 minutes from the Trevi was great. The only downside was that I thought that the room came with air conditioning only to find a fan in the room - while it was adequate if it was any hotter I would have melted.

We had a really pleasant stay at the hotel Julia! Rooms have been clean and the location was actually perfect, just a few minutes away from all sights! Just the room (we stayed in a double Queensize room) could have been a bit more spacious and the breakfast could be improved! However the staff was really friendly and helpful! We would stay again in this hotel!
