The staff at Giuliana was terrific. So nice and helpful and spoke great english. The rooms were basic but for the price, great. Located very close to Termini train station, so if you take the train in from the airport you could easily walk to the hotel (about 5-10 minutes). It's about a 20 - 25 minute walk to campo di fiori/trastavere. 15 minute walk to colliseum. We had a really nice experience. If you are traveling in august, be aware that most of the smaller businesses and restaurants are closed.

Our stay at the Giuliana was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, the rooms were spotless and the local food [as recommended by the hotel staff] was first rate. Probably the most enjoyable holiday we've ever had. I would recommend the Hotel Giuliana to anyone.

Our second time to stay at Giuliana and that tells you something. Fantastic staff, excellent location for finding your way easily to all the sites. The hotel itself is of a high standard with spacious clean accomadation. Highly recommended.

The Hotel Giuliana was well suited for our one week stay in Rome, close to the train station and subway yet in a safe and relatively quiet neighborhood. The family-owned and run hotel was friendly, helpful, and accomodating. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

My mother and aunt stayed at the Hotel Giuliana and had a great time. They are satisfied about everything. The staff are REALLY helpful and friendly and provide extra service. My mother was fasting so they gave her her breakfast late at night instead. And when the taxi came for them to leave and they didn't have enough Euros they exchanged Swedish kronor for them (even though they don't provide the service officially). You will not regret a stay at the Guiliana. If you're after really cheap then find something else but if you want a good hotel, at a reasonable price for central Rome...this is it! I myself will stay here if I go to Rome again.

Very good hospitality of owners and employees. Good bedroom size, maybe bathroom shower a little narrow. Location pretty close of transportation network. Cleanliness was appreciatted. I would recommend for argentinean turists (price and quality good combination).

A small hotel, with even smaller rooms, but clean and welcoming. From the hotel you can reach on foot all the major attractions of Rome (5 minutes walking to Quirinale, 10 minutes to the Trevi fountain ). The breakfast is very simple (cornflakes and croissants) but it was enough for us. It is not easy to locate the hotel, since it is on the first floor of an anonymous building: you will recognize it only from the small sign outside and the name on the door bell.

I stayed at the Guiliana for 7 nights and had an excellent stay. I chose this place primarily because the wonderful staff speaks English, as this trip was my first to Italy and I was uncertain about my language skills. Everyone made me feel very welcome and was very very helpful. The owner is a sweetheart of a person. The second reason I chose the Guiliana was for its location. I was very very happy with the location too. It was close to Termini and close enough to ancient Rome to walk. I am a walker so I just planned to walk almost everywhere I could. I never had to take a taxi. The Vatican and S.Peters were a little far so the subway was my choice of transportation and was very easy to get to from Termini. Just pay attention to the direction. It is all well marked with signage. I was by myself and only took a large daypack for luggage for the trip. The breakfast was a very good continental breakfast. I especially enjoyed a fresh made cappuccino every morning and stimulating conversations. There were many shops out the door and to the right and pizza and restaurant to the left. There is an open market just on the next block in the mornings. Overall I was very happy with my stay. I was treated with kindness and concern. I will stay here again without hesitation. Hi to everyone there. Regards, L.L.

Very nice and clean room,we had booked a superior room though,so we don't know about the others.Hotel very clean. But breakfast is very disapointing.Croissants and danish already packed, nothing is fresh. I suggest they should buy fresh viennoiserie.
