Very nice staff, very well located hotel, nice, silent district close to the center..average breakfast, clean but found some ugly hair left in our beds..still we were pleased..good price related to other Rome hotels

A quite crammed situation in a miniscule room was favourably countered by the helpfulness and pleasant manners of the personnel - and by the possibility to park a car safely in the hotel yard.

They did not have our reservation when we checked in so we were shunted off to a lower grade hotel. So overall something got screwed up.

My wife and I have visited Rome in May, 2005 and stayed in Goleno hotel. The most attractive thing about it is that the hotel is very close to the Historical Center of Rome. It took 15-20 minutes for us to walk to the Ancient center. The other good thing is pizza in the nearby (cross the street) restaraunt. It is excellent. The shower is very small, not for those who suffer Claustrophobia. But if your main objective while being in Rome is to walk around the whole day and having fun outside the room and if you're about 18-50 y.o. you'll probably like the place. Rate was 100 Euro for double-bed.

Rooms are very small, you can hardly move in it. Breakfast is oke. The location of the hotel is not to bad, it's a quiet neighbourhood for a good night's rest. Busstops are on a very short distance of the hotel. Although I have no complains about this hotel I would not choose this hotel for second visit to Rome.

Whatever you do, don't stay at this hotel. The rooms are so small they need a 'give way' system to navigate 2 people around them. The rooms are awkwardly placed in a long corridor-type arrangement with no regard to noise levels that inevitably occur due to the continual arrival/departure of other guests. The dining corridor (you couldn't call it a room) had several rooms leading directly off it, and one room was situated right next to the kitchen. Our room was directly opposite the very noisy reception. Overall a very tatty place - for just a few Euros more we found a super hotel in a much better location, although we didn't stay there as we had pre-paid our 3-night stay. However, we complained so loudly that the manager transferred us to their sister hotel (the Seiler) free of charge. Seiler was much better, and in a much better location.

rooms are pretty small, but good and clean. If you only need a good place to sleep quietly and want to be within walking distance of Rome main attractions, then this is a good choice. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.
