Good location close to Termini. Loud music at night from disco next door and from service vehicles in street. Many restaurants in close proximity. We would stay there again solely because of its location.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to Termini station and some important archeological sites.

It's OK you have business around the area of Termini, but if you are there to visit the tourist attractions it's quite far out of the way.

the employees had poor english and sometimes it got very difficult for them to understand us, especially when we tried to explain that there is no Wifi whithin the whole hotel. They told us we would just need to plug the room's phone cable to our laptop....but it did not work at all, since the owner never subscribed for a wifi connection. so we "teached "them how to.... there was a new night-shif employee when we stayed there, and apparently he did not know a lot about his new job, especially when we asked him twice to wake us up in the morning, and he never did. the rooms are good, but we can hear everything from the other rooms, especially by night.. nice hotel tough, breakfast is fine and employees globaly willing to help.

Although we had booked an en suite room we did not realise that this does not include a tiolet. We had to use a communal toilet located further down the corridor. On our arrival our room was made up as a Double when we had quite clearly booked a twin. We had to separate the beds and were given sheets and blankets by the hotel porter to make the beds up ourselves!

We didnt like the fact that our room was not in the breakfast building.... also it was pretty uncofortable that you need to plug the key when entering the room for having light and electricity.

We stayed in a Deluxe room and you could bearly move in there. The space was tiny, we had no water, the features they state are on the website are not in the rooms, ie internet connection. The parking price varies for each car. When you would go to talk to the staff about anything everyone there had a different answer for you. This place was awful. I would not let my dog stay at this hotel.

We enjoy our stay at the Baltic, it was close to the Termini train station and a nice walk to the major attractions, there was a super market near by as well, the people at the Hotel were nice specialy our barista and house made from Buenos Aires, she was helpful and told us how to get to places, the room was clean an quiet we stayed on room #26 it was away from the street so the only noise we heard was some street dogs in the morning, the room had an air condition and it worked really well, breakfast was small but the cappuccino was kick ass, price VS. location was good, if you like to walk and are an easy going person this place is for you. If we come back to Rome one day we will look on staying here again he.

This was our (2 persons)first time in the Baltic hotel. We had to find out for ourselves that the hotel is situated on the 2nd and 3d floor of the building, and how the doors work and the elevator to get there. With some help from other guests we managed to get on the right floor after 10 minutes. The person who welcomed us was friendly. The room was very very small, especially when you consider that you pay more than 100 euro for one night(!) but clean. The bed was too small for 2 persons (we also would have preferred 2 separate mattresses). The shower was small but nice and clean. Against the other side of the wall of our room was some sort of water heater which made noise from time to time. In the morning the breakfast was good, with nice bread (tip: maybe they can add some cheese and or meat to choose from, there was only jam). When we asked for some extra sheets we got it immediately, and when we asked some questions about Rome the employees were very helpful too. We indeed think that it was a 2 star hotel, but the price was too high for what you get.

Given that Rome like all of Italy is expensive and especially noisy, this hotel is an excellent choice for budget or other travelers (close your double paned windows for almost complete silence....but be aware the room will get stuffy. We walked ourselves each day to exhaustion so the noise didn't bother us at night from the restaurant below). The staff were all helpful and efficient in their duties. The location is a good one for walking to many of Rome's sights. Bus and taxi stops are also close. The neighborhood makes one feel safe being close to many ministries. Public Area received a "5" rating from us because it's really not applicable. The hotel has a check-in desk and breakfast area, there is no "lobby" so to speak....but who needs one in Rome? Excellent coffee to start each morning and the red-headed barrista is a gem!!

This was very clean and cheap hotel. Rooms are quite small but they were ok otherwise. There are lots of affordable restaurants in the neighbourhood. And on the mornings you will get very good cupuccino with breakfast!
