This was one of the nicest hotels on our entire trip. The biggest and nicest bathroom! Although on a narrow street, the street was busy especially in the evenings, but excellent windows kept most of the noise out. The elevator was most appreciated and the outdoor breakfast courtyard was really beautiful.

Hotel Artorius was exceptionally comfortable, beautiful and quiet. The room was perfect and we were overjoyed and surprised to have a terrace to sit out on. The care we received from the hotel personnel was over the top. The restaurant recommendations, information about the area, help with ground transportation was exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful. All amenities were the best. I have never had a better stay at a hotel anywhere. We highly recommend this hotel to all!

Artorius could not have been better. It is a small, quality hotel run by a very caring family. The room was spacious, for Italy, and the bathroom quite nice. There was no problem at all with noise for the windows are all new and completely soundproof. The breakfast was attractively presented. Overall, we could not have been more pleased. Hotel Artorius is such a gem, I almost don't want to spread the word! I traveled with two other women friends and they were awestruck. We had three twins and a fabulous balcony - great because they are smokers. The staff went out of their way to be helpful - especially con mio brutto italiano! Breakfast was a nice "German-type' spread: warm crossiants, crostata, bread, juice, meat, cheese and yoghurt. I'll be back and recommend to others.

The triple room we stayed in was superb; large, comfortable, spotless, and modern. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful although only Alessandro (?) spoke some English. No coffee/tea maker or iron in the room, but I think this was due to fire/safety regulations. Bathroom was modern, bright, and large. Excellent value for money and we certainly recommend it.

Great hotel and location in Rome is within a block of public transportation. Staff are helpful and speak english . We arrived at 12:00pm and they escorted us to our rooms. Rooms are average size for Europe. Good breakfast and service. Beds are a little uncomfortable. Surroundings are quiet and secure. Nice neighborhood for restaurants. Good value for your money.

4 nights in Rome. good location for sights. Unable to book twin room but mix up with rooms ensured we got one - so I can't understand why they say they're not available. Temperature of shower variable! Would stay again because of location and patio area.

We were a group of 3 middle aged ladies who thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. This hotel is a gem, deserving of a much higher rating. Breakfast in the courtyard served with delicious cappucino was sublime. We were within a 10 minute stroll of termini station, colisseum, trevi fountain and spanish steps.. would not hesitate to recommend

This hotel was fantastic ! Immaculate rooms, immaculate eating area ! I have already recommended this place to two of my friends, it is a must in Rome. The staff is so client oriented ... beautiful ! And you must try the cappuccino in the morning ... you will get a small suprise. Alessandro was just precious. We walked to all the main tourist attractions from here ... you do not even need the subway (except for the Vatican). GREAT ! GREAT ! GREAT !

The family owners were all so very helpful and well spoken. The property is spotless and very accomodating to our group of 6. It is a short 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and Forum right off Via Nazionale, and Allesandro was knowledgable with surroundings, buses and restaurants. The 10 room property felt like a B & B.

Hotel Artorius surpassed our expectations! The rooms and common areas were better than the pictures and the staff was wonderful. This is a family owned and operated hotel and they show it! They truly care about you and want to make the experience perfect. My advice to you? Book this place now!
