Walls between rooms are very thin and all kind of noise be heard! If you want to sleep quietly you must ask peaceful room and buy earplugs.

For the price of the room, the hotel is quite average - very inconvenient location with limited access to public transportation; the receptionist gave attitude for coming back after hours (after 1 am), no shower curtain in the shower and a rather low level of sanitary facilities, and the breakfast included in the price was just bread and jam. Next time I would choose a hotel in the Center of Rome - at least it will save money on taxis, which was really the only way to get to Arcadia.

on arrival we were treated like dirt and were relocated to another hotel as they were double booked.our group were split up and sent to different hotels.we did not get to bed until 3.30am,having arrived in rome at 12 midnight.it was a nightmare.

Supposed to be near the airport (Ciampina) but it´s not that close. The €30 fixed fare to book a taxi for an early morning flight means you are better off staying in the city near the shuttle bus service that runs in conjunction with all RyanAir flights, it would be cleaner, with better service and less noise - avoid where ever possible.

We cant comment on the Arcadia Hotel as we never got to stay in it, because they were grossly overbooked, apparently its a problem they have a habit of repeating............ on an ongoing basis....................However they did put us up in another hotel which was ok

A hotel's shuttle price to the airport seems to be a bit high - 10 EUR per 3 km.

Fantastic staff at this hotel. The hotel itself is a little out the way and it took a bus and the metro to get into town. The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried setting us on the right path. The pizza shop just near the hotel had teh best pizza, pasta and other food in the whole of Italy. (okay a little bias). Not flash but friendly and would definetly recommend.

A super little hotel if you are not bothered about the location. It's fairly close to the airport but you need to catch a bus to the metro ( every 30 mins) and then another 30 mins into the city( tickets 1 euro available at reception). Rooms were clean although some of the fittings were a little shoddy in one of the two rooms we booked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value if yuo don't mind the inconvenience.

When we read your literature about the Hotel's location, we assumed that it was within walking distance to the metro station. However it turned out to be a bus ride which added to our journey time into the city of Rome, it took almost an hour to travel into Rome from the Hotel. We were also disappointed that the general area around the Hotel was not all that clean/tidy. However, we cannot fault the hotel itself or the staff, it was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hotel Arcadia is convinient for travelers with a tight budget or large families. The hotel is located 30 to 40 minutes away from downtown Rome. You need to take a bus and the Metro to get to downtown. Rooms were clean and the service was good. I would recommend hotel Arcadia if you are traveling on a budget.

Front desk employees helpfulness and breakfast buffet included were excellent. Room could have been larger for 3 people and 90 Euro per night. Air conditioning not working. No tub. Internet terminal in lobby was broken for 3 days while there. Front desk not familiar with bus schedule and location to leave for airport departure. Front desk did not receive our reservation confirmation from the internet provider. Otherwise we were satisfied.

The front desk member of staff, Sergio, was a truly wonderful fellow...he guided me to the Hotel by phone at 0300 hours! I drove to Florence from Rome for a day trip, (not a good idea!) and arrived back in the South part of Rome by 0200 hours..spent 1 hour trying to locate the Hotel. I found very few people able to communicate in English at this time of the day, (most fuel stations I passed were closed), but I eventually managed to locate a hotel which was not too far away and 'Super Sergio' not only gave me step by step directions, but also waited outside the Hotel itself! So my experience of the staff, (well, one member only), was fantastic! As for staying at the Hotel, well, unless you have a very early morning flight from Ciampino, I'm not sure you would need to stay this far out. If you hire a car and intend to arrive or depart when it is dark, it is hard to see the roads signs as a lot of them are not lit...so leave plenty of time to get there - or to leave from Hotel to airport!
