Excellent breakfast selection and very clean hotel. If you don't mind taking the train or bus between Rome (city centre) and this hotel fo about 25 minutes each way, then its great location for your visit to the Rome, IT area.

When booking with this hotel be prepared to spend all day away. The hotel is on the outskirts of Rome but so far out that once you leave you may as well not return until you're finished sightseeing for the day. The staff is friendy and helpful, they try to meet your needs as best as they can. The breakfast buffet has a variety so you don't get bored eating the same thing every day.

It was quite challenging to drive to this hotel the first time even with my GPS - it is well hidden behind a shopping center. The whole area is poorly lit and because of the badly designed highway interchange in the area you can easily missed the exit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was basic and clean, laminated flooring, IKEA style furniture. Breakfast was a bit better than other Italian hotels we stayed for the 2-week trip.

although it is close public transportation, its location, mainly at night, it is not good, there is no restaurants or places to go close to the hotel, and we did not feel safety to go out at night. There is facilities to make shop because there is a small mall just in the same building.

We were very happy with the service at this hotel. However, the only directions we had with us were from our confirmation print out from the website. These directions were totally inadequate and we got lost finding the hotel. Fortunately an angel in the local area left her store and had us follow her car, and she got us right to the hotel. In the future we will never travel without a proper map or satellite navigation system. However, the directions could have been better and avoided this problem. For example, the directions said "follow the hotel signs," but there never were any hotel signs along the road. It would have been better to say "the hotel is located behind the IKEA store," since it is impossible to miss that!

Very nice and new hotel. Friendly service, clean rooms with modern furnishings. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast with many choices, however; there is no lunch or dinner in the hotel. The major problem with this hotel is the location. It is located in an industrial area and is rather unappealing. Yes, there is a shopping mall adjacent to the hotel where you can find many stores, but no full service restaurant. For only one night it is a good value for the price. I would not stay there if you plan on visting Rome -- it's too far (45 minutes to an hour)depending on traffic and which part of the city you want to visit.

We stayed at the Anagnina for six nights and are very pleased with the quality and standard of the hotel. Very clean, tidy rooms and helpful and friendly staff members. The breakfast included in the price was substantial. It is rather far away from the centre of Rome, but you reach it reasonably easy in about half an hour by bus and subway at the very low cost of 1 Euro each direction. There is also the possibility to buy a one day ticket at the price of 4 Euros, which allows you to use the subway and city buses unlimitedly until 12 PM. A shopping centre in the same block as the hotel was no disadvantage, either. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is situated in a commercial area, very functional, basically a roof over the head. Staff did their job but without any flair of hospitality. Best hotel breakfast we had in Italy. Route description to hotel very poor, on approach to Hotel look for the shopping centre with the big IKEA sign, this is where you must head towards. Once close by, look for the MacDonalds on the corner of a nearby centre, the hotel name is not well displayed on the building and about 50 metres from MacDonalds. Tv/Internet etc as advertised is in room but costs you extra (the package appr 12.00). Surrounds are totally dead, travelling to chaotic central Rome takes close to an hour. Tours offered to Colosseum and Vatican take you to take pictures of the outside of buildings but not inside.

The hotel is very far from the center, in a bad area with no restaurants around. If you are there on business, the hotel itself is very nice but if you are on vacation, I would not choose this hotel as my base. We regreted our choice for this hotel since it is so far even if you have a car.

A bit out of the way, with limited local restaurants etc. 10 minutes (including waiting for bus) to the metro station, and a further 20 to get to the centre of town on the metro is not bad though. Staff very helpfull. Would stay againg.

The shuttle was available at 6am as ordered and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we left before breakfast began. The beds were extremely hard ( we joked that it felt like cardboard) BUT ...cleanliness, water pressure in shower, and fact that it was located in Mall.... very good!

Excellent hotel, spotless & large rooms & cheaper pricing than many others. I have rated it less on location as it is on the very outskirts on a Retail park so you have to get a tube into the centre. This is no problem in the day but on a night we went for the tube at 9.30 & it had closed for the day so had to get a taxi at £25 each way. We couldn't see any restaurants close by the hotel so had no choice but to pay for a taxi to the centre. I don't like to say negative things as the hotel was so nice but I think you do need to consider if you would mind paying this out to get out & about on a night.
