The hotel was very close to the Trevi as advertised and while the entire front of the hotel was covered in scaffolding we were not disturbed during the course of our stay (which was about 4 nights). We had a large room but with 4 beds in it and while it was tight we didn't need any more space. There was still enough room for our bags and things and room to move. Breakfast was okay although it was a very busy hotel (not good if you're looking for a boutique hotel). We travelled with young children and the staff were mostly helpful when we needed.

Stayed here four nights. Very close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, wide variety of restaurants nearby. Hotel in being renovated, so we were awakened by construction noise at 0630.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was very clean, quiet and air conditioned. The breakfasts were excellent. BUT we had a room with twin beds, one bed was comfortable and one was so hard we might as well have been sleeping on the floor. We had to take turns sleeping on these beds as no one could tolerate sleeping on the hard bed for our whole stay. Also we e-mailed the hotel re shuttle bus from the airport and was quoted a price of 50 euros which we paid only to see a sign posted in the hotel that the shuttle bus service from the airport to the hotel was 45 euros. We would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again even though location is ideal and the rooms were very clean. Why don't these hotels get it - the beds have to be comfortable!!!!!!

The location of this hotel is excellent...walking distance to everywhere and many restaurants close by..breakfast was good, the only bad thing is that the beds are rock hard, its like sleeping on wood and the rooms are small, but bathroom adequate. And due to it being in a small piazza, it echoes and is very noisy at night. If you are a light sleeper, forget about a good night's sleep. First time user of Venere and would use them again.

Hotel Accademia was really great except for one thing....the beds. They were rock hard. (Although I spoke to other tourists and they all said the same thing.) The location was wonderful, just down the street from the Trevi Fountain and central to all the attractions. Most of the employees were helpful, but not overwhelmingly. We did come back to stay at the hotel for one more night, and those beds were softer....so ask for soft beds when checking in. Maybe they'll give you a better room. Rooms are small, but that's the standard for Rome. Bathrooms are small, but new and clean. Internet service provided at only 5 Euro for the entire stay. My teenage daughter loved to check her email at the end of each day. Had trouble with my travel iron, so I couldn't iron anything. Laundry service was too expensive to use. Breakfast provided was wonderful each morning. I would definitely stay here again...but ask for a soft bed.

I will not recommend hotel Accademia for a stay in Rome. The service provided is very poor and the employees are extremely rude to clients. The location is good but the rooms, although spacious, are dark and unpersonal. Also please be aware that the building is being renovated and the front of the building is therefore covered with scaffoldings! It would have been much appreciated to be informed of this before booking. In a nutshelf, I will surely not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice and pleasant stay in Rome.

As i was i Rome for the first time, this hotel was very central. We could enter the "hop on hop of" sightseeing-bus just outside the hotel. We could walk easily between the most famous spots as Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Colluseum, Forum and Trastevere. There were lots of nice restaurants in the area and also lots of shops.

The hotel was mordern and trendy. I loved the music in the ceiling and bathroom. Very cool! The outside was under construction but we had no problems. The room was absolutley quiet. The shower was really nice after some of the other places we stayed. the location was fantastic. We walked to almost all the sites except the Vatican and St. Peters and that was because we were in a hurry. I would defintely reccommend and come back to ths hotel. Oh the News Cafe next door has fantastic paninis. Yum.

This hotel is in an excelleny location, the rooms have been recently refurbished, with very friendly staff. The only downside was the stuffy rooms & the airconditioning was not turned on.

This was the third time my wife and I had stayed at the Accademia and again it did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra cost which was very spacious. The location is excellent for both sightseeing and shopping.

Location excellent with Trevi fountain just a few metres away. Hotel needs some refurbishment which in fact was taking place whilst we were there. This however did not cause us any inconvenience. I would recommend this hotel any time. I hope the prices will not go up too much once the hotel has been renovated because I would hate to go somewhere else next time I visit Rome.
