This hotel is also inconveniently located and is preferred over the Hiberia. Howver, we were given a room away from the main hotel and seem to be part of the Adninstration section of the hotel. The small dining room do serve a good mean for a fair price.

Though this hotel boast of being 4 star, but actually it is not in terms of what I got. I went there in March 2008 and it was too hot. They said they can't switch on AC. When I asked to provide me a fan at least, they said do not keep fan (?? ). They suggested me that I should open window and sleep. I opened window, but it was too noisy and a constant smell of something like mosquito repeller was there. I was really disappointed. I would suggest to rather book a cheaper 3 star instead of this.

A good modern hotel well situated for exploring Rome. Staff generally good but some don't really bother to go beyond the minimum. Breakfast is great and I would recommend overall.

It was our first time in Rome and we were very pleased with quality of Hotel and location. It is very near the main station in Rome. Staff were very helpful and rooms were very clean and spacious. The food was very good also. When we return to Rome we will definately stay in Best Western Universo Hotel and I would highly recommend it.

Room was really really modern, spotless clean. Staff we very nice and friendly. Breakfast was nice and you could have plenty.. I would recommend this hotel to all and any... Girlfriend loved it so I cant complain.

we stayed at the hotel universo in feb 07, it was ideally located close to termini train station. The staff were friendly and hotel was clean with modern decor, breakfast was served until 10.30 and there was plenty of food. i would recommend this hotel. At the end of the road (about 10min walk) there were some good indian restaurants. Shopping was close by. We did the open bus tour as soon as we got there which i would recommend.

The Staff doesnt know how to say thank you and please , there english is bad and the breakfast room is horrible and not very clean. The Breakfast is ok.Iits only 2 minutes walk to Termini Station and the rooms are very nice. And and the end of the Day you are just sleeping and eating there. All in all would go there again because of the price and because its central.

Great experience apart from the check in and minibar. Got to the Hotel to check in, but was advised that room would only be ready at 14:00, which was no problem. Our bags were taken and stored for us. Got back at 14:00 to get checked in. The person helping us started with our check in, but interupted due to another guest checking out. The check in person made us wait for an extremely lengthy check out of the other guest, who wanted his bill, a taxi to the airport and change of currency. Really inconvenient!! A card in the room stated that one can make use of the free minibar service. On check out I got charged 2 euro for an unknown item and for a cooldrink... Otherwise a pleasant experience. Beautiful room with LCD panel TV. Most of the staff speaks some English.
