Very good location. Few minutes on foot to Coloseum. Near metro station and Termini railway station. Nice and helpful staff. Everything was fine except inability to pay by credit card. Room was nice and clean after our arrival, but for all the time we were there nobody cleaned it. We had a private bathroom which is not frequent in B&B.

They said, that Credit Card mashine war brocken, and took CASH. I think as always there. Bar for breakfast was close at 7 O'clock at the morning on Sunday. Too loud. I heard all through the walls. But others was ok.

We stayed in Casa Carra 5 nights. Everything was OK. Staff (especially Christina) was helpful, room was clean.

Payment cannot be made via credit card. Receptionist will inform you on the first day of your stay that the machine is spolit. So be prepared to pay cash. Other than that, the hotel seems satisfactory. Rather near to train station, security facilities is good (need to go through 3 doors which will be locked at night before you get to the hotel), room is spacious and air conditioned. Breakfast is just at the bar below the rooms. Room facing the road can be rather noisy at night. So if you are a light sleeper, can be rather annoying. Will recommend it to young couples looking for budget rooms with private bathroom facilities.

The hotel is in a good location, between the train station and the colessium, so you won't need a cab. The rooms were small but clean. The street itself is relatively dirty (but safe) - like most streets in Rome. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was a crossaint and a coffee in a cafe next door. All up though a reasonable hotel for a good price.

Great location near the train station and metro (though not a particularly nice area). The welcome was a little sketchy, as the hotel has no marking or signs. We found the building at the street address and was gruffly told to go to the second floor. After waiting for a few minutes, someone finally opened the door and we entered the "hotel" proper. Casa Cara is actually two wings of a building, but the inside is neat and well kept. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was weak (its just a pastry and coffee at the bar next door) but for basing excursions around Rome, Casa Cara is great - the price wasn't bad either. The only negative, other than the check in process, is we wish there was a hair dryer in the room.

Excellent location, very close to Termini train station & Colosseum; clean and comfortable room. Just beware of street noise, almost non-existent "breakfast" part (croissant & coffee at the bar downstairs)and be prepared to pay cash - they will tell you that credit card machine doesn't work.
