We were extremely dissapointed with this hotel. The rooms were tiny and the photo's didn't correspond with the hotel at all. The fountain pictured "outside" is infact a block away outside another B&B. The first room we had was near the entrance and the breakfast room and we were woken with late check in's and then again at 6.00am as breakfast was set out. The only window was to a patio which the staff used as a smoking point. Not very private! We complained and were moved. But this room's walls were so thin that we could hear everything our neighbours did and said. and I mean everything! The bathroom was clean and modern, but it was so small that you could hardly turn around in it. Over all, we got nearly no sleep. It was very dissapointing for the price.

Excellent location - you could see the Colloseum from the front door! Nearest Metro station was Cavour -5 mins walk. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent. Airconditioning in room and fridge. Brilliant gelateria across the road! would definately stay there again.

We found the hotel very easily, from the Cavour metro station is 7-8 minutes walk. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room (Tiberio) was nice & clean, better than expected, towels changed every 2 days, but the room was cleaned every day. Bathroom was clean too, even though there were some dirty/wet marks on the ceiling but that didn't bother us. Breakfast was ok - croissant, jam & butter, joghurt, coffe & tea. Location was excellent, min to Collosseum or Piazza Venezia. Overall great stay for great price!

The Town House Suite Anfiteatro Flavio was a good choice: the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean, the breakfast rich(italian conditions)and best situated for sightseeing trips!

this bed & breakfast was clean and absolutely charming. was had an alcove before entering the actual room in which we placed our luggage, which didn't fit in the bed area. it was far from the train station, but walkable, and standing in front of the hotel, the coloseum was in plain view! major bus lines from Roma Termini are a 2 minute walk as well as the bus to Vatican City. overall, my stay was a pleasure

Everything was just fine, even breakfast was much better than described by guests of other hotels or hostels :) Only problem could be that you might hear every word spoken in the room nearby.. walls seem to be really thin. At least there is practically no noise from outside, from the small street - and still Piazza Venezia as well as the Collosseum are really nearby. :) All in all, we were really happy with Anfiteatro Flavio!

Located in the heart of ROME, this nice B&B is within walking distance to the Coliseum, actually, you can see it at the end of the street. Walking down the Via de Serpenti towards Via Cavour, you will find anything you need, from little convenience stores, internet cafes, clothing, restaurantes, etc. If you turn left on Via de Cavour, you are a couple of blocks away from the Cavour blue line subway. THe hotel is cute, but it is not the cleanest of them all. We stayed at the Claudio room, which has a street view. It is not noisy if the windows are shut. I may be to picky, but I did notice the curtains had not been washed in some time, and the bathroom had a fowel oder some times, although it was not that bad. I liked to size of the shower stall. I would recommend bringing your own towels. Breakfast consists of bread, coffee, juice, and yogurt, and you can ask for other drinks such as capuccinos or hot chocolate. The elevator is very small and only 2 slim people fit with no extras such as luggage. I really liked the location, and being able to walk everywhere without a problem was very convenient. I stayed in this property from Nov 20 to Nov 24, 2006.

A very practically located hotel with friendly staff. Save for some practical glitches (warm water disappeared for one morning, broken halogen light bulbs remained unchanged) our stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was very Italian (a cup of coffee etc. and a bun), but that could be compensated later in the day as there are a lot of nice restaurants on Via dei Serpentini and nearby streets.
