This hotel is in a good location - middle of copacabana beach and close to all the major tourist attractions. The hotel itself is clean with friendly staff who provide with tourist information. The breakfast is good and room service is adequate.

The hotel rooms on the first lower floor located on the left and right sides are without a view - very close to the adjacent buildings.

Nice clean hotel in an excellent location right on copacabana beach...The only thing missing in the hotel was a swimming pool. Free wi-fi internet would have been a nice touch...u can get broadband internet for R$ 15 per day though, which is not bad. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and room service meals were nice too. The concierge service was great, the guys are very helpful with arranging tours and taxis. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Hotel Club booked 2 rooms at @ US$400 a night. When we arrived, the room was in the back of the hotel with a view of an airshaft, and the bed was 3/4 wide, a poor quality mattress, a low level of lighting, a very small room with little closet space and almost no storage space, and a single window. It was completely unacceptable, especially for so much money. We went to the front desk and for approxinmately $US100 a night more, we were given a beautiful room facing the street with a full view of the ocean, a king size bed, lots of closet space and storage space, and a big spacious room. Hotel Club booked us into an expensive substandard room. I is too bad you did not offer us an upgrade when booking. The hotel is in the middle of the block, so the rooms in the back do not have views of anything but the buildings next door. Once the room problem was solved, the hotel was wonderful. the staff is very accommodating and the food in the restaurant is excellent, with excellent service.

Only complaint - The room service was supposed to be 24 hours, but they stopped taking orders at 2 a.m.
