This hotel has a nice location at the end of Copacabana, in an area with little traffic and many good places to eat. The reception area is four star, but some of the rooms are old and run down. I wouldRead more not rate the rooms I have stayed in more then 2 1/2 or 3. Hotel staff is very pleasant and always helpful. The one thing that suprises me with this hotel is that Leme Othon Palace charges an extra tax. All taxes are paid for when you book your hotel on most internet sites. When I point this out they quickly remove the tax, but they try this every time and never in any other hotels in Rio. One excuse they gave was that all four star hotels charged an extra tax.
