We had a wonderful stay at the Pension Balbin, it was extremely reasonably priced, the room was lovely, and the staff were very nice. It's only a very short walk from the centre of Prague, but is very quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located on 3 upper floors of a 5 storey building close to the railway station. It’s got big rooms with roof windows (offering limited view), with a nice and friendly staff, and free internet for guest. The breakfast was somewhat simple and plain (with no hot dishes), but all inn all a very nice and reasonable hotel located around 1200 meter from the Old Town Square. Will recommend this hotel for others travelling on a limited budget.

No outside view in our room (only a roof window). At peak hours (8 to 10 a.m) shower water tends to be a bit cold. Breakfast quality just average. Otherwise, very nice and welcoming staff.

IT IS SET IN QUIET LOCATION ABOUT FIVE MINS FROM TOWN. VERY CLEAN BUT VERY BASIC. LOTS OF STEPS TO DRAG LUGGAGE UP BEFORE GETTING IN A VERY OLD FASHIONED LIFT THAT TAKES YOU TOO THE FOURTH FLOOR WHERE ACCCOMADTION IS. RESIDENTS OCCUPY THE FIRST THREE FLOORS MANY OF THEM OWNING DOGS WHICH BARK A LOT. OK THOUGH FOR WHAT WE WANTED.

Spacious, room - very comfortable extra large bed, immaculately clean. Slightly offputting that only had velox windows in roof but got used to this. Excellent breakfast - staff welcoming and exceedingly helpful. 3 minutes walk from Musuem; easy access to public transport. Pension accessed by stairs and lift to 4th floor. Price seemed expensive for Pension. However would defintiley return.

Excellent location. Rooms were spacious and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Lift is small and does not cover all floors for those less able. We arrived early and they let us into one room to leave our luggage until the other room was ready. We were only there one night but would happily have stayed longer.

This is a very special place, the staff are very helpful and the room as spotless. the neighborhood is a little removed from the tourist area which is great because you really see the local flair. The restaurants close to the hotel are great and cheap. I would definitely stay here again

Nice clean place, but no extras such as shampoo etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Place is just on the edge of acceptable for the city centre. We always walked into town, and caught a taxi back at night

This hotel was in a very central location for everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only critisism would be that the room was very hot at times and was unable to turn the radiator off....It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The Buffet breakfast was good. I would stay there again should I return.
