The Golf was on the main tram line into Prague itself taking about 1/2 hour and running every 4 minutes very good service. The Golf itself was adequate but considering the price paid was good value. We only stayed for 3 nights and the towels changed every day, maid every day. The breakfast was continental not a very good selection I'm afraid but overall I would go back there.

This hotel represents excellent value for money (but remember you get what you pay for) the rooms were all kept clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and warm and there was plenty of hot water. It is situated beside the no 9 tram line (which takes about 15 mins to reach Wencelas Square) and there is a stop right outside the hotel. Our party age group was 45-75 and we all found the hotel satisfactory for our needs and a good bargain at the price. We would stay there again. There is however a fairly steep slope up to the hotel (which can be mounted by either a driveway or steps) and anyone with walking problems may struggle.

The building was very old, the windows were about to disintegrate & the room very small. The beds were very short and were bounded by some half-meter walls on three sides(!!!) which made it impossible for my tall hubby to stretch & get a restful sleep. I got reservation for a double-bed room but I was given a twin-bed room & the girl at the desk refused to change it even when we saw that the double-room next to ours was not occupied. The bathroom was quite ok though.

For the cost, the Golf hotel is fantastic. A little further from the city centre, but you get what you pay for.

located right by tram routes 7,9 and 10. never have to wait more than 2 to 3 minutes for a tram directly to Andel, Wenceslas Square, etc. Night trams run through the night every 15 minutes. Breakfast is great with fresh bread and rolls every morning with as much cheese, ham, salami, frankfurters, boiled eggs, cereal, tea, coffee as you can manage!!! rooms are pretty basic, but have tv, powerful and hot showers, windows that open! it's not going to win any prizes for looks or facilities, but for the price and convenience you really can not beat it. we've stayed there twice now and wuld recommend it to younger people, backpackers and short stayers.

We made the effort to learn the basics of the language and were laughed and sneered at to our surprise. The staff were rude and impatient of foreigners. The room was dirty, particularly the toilet and stank of cigarettes constantly from the a/c (im a smoker and couldnt bear it!). only good aspect was close proximity to tram lines, two min walk and 10 min tram ride to central prague.

The hotel although basic was very comfortable and warm. Cleanliness was top of the list and maids cleaned rooms and changed towels daily. the food was very good and plenty of it. The location of the hotel wad in a nice quiet area with a tram stop right outside, which took you straight into the center of Prague. Trams ran about every 7 minutes and they were very cheap. Only about £3 for a 7 day pass. I would defiantly return to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Golf Hotel Prague is a standard 3 * hotel located conveniantly 10-12 min by tram from citycenter and 15-20 min by taxi from airport. Its location is quiet out of town with a campingarea as its closest neighbour. The staff is friendly and very helpful and (most) speak good english.

breakfast coffee and tea absolutely dire.Take your own. Orange juice fizz from a pop bottle equally awful. Male receptionist unhelpful and surly. Otherwise place is clean but simple and a bargain at £18 a room. frequent trams on route 9 get you there.

Definitely a good choice for a hotel near the center for minimum costs. With the tram in front of the hotel you can go anywhere in Prague. Rooms are old fashioned but clean and that is what's important for me. Taxi service to the airport for a fair price. Breakfast is ok.

This hotel is one of the older style hotels in Prague, everything is in working order with helpful staff and the prices are resonable, the resturant was good. The location of the hotel is easy to find as is public transport. I recommend this hotel for anyone who is having a short stay, not suited for families with young children or toddlers.

Although Hotel Golf is dated, it is very clean and was adequate for what we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Hotel was ideally situated with a tram stop right outside to take you into the centre of Prague. The food in the restaurant was very nice and I would definately stay here again in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone.
