The reception desk staff need a lesson in how to offer service with a smile. why are they so unhappy ? The common room , lounge areas should be non-smoking . Have you not heard that second hand smoke is detrmental to ones health?

This is a great hotel. We were within a 10 minute walk of all the major sites. This hotel offers a unique mix of modern decor coupled with an old building. This could easily be rated a 5 star hotel if they added a few more ammenities. The breakfast was way more than expected. Easy to get to by subway from the railroad station station. Although the hotel signage could be a bit more visible. There is a great little mini-mart on a nearby corner where you can buy small items, drinks, snacks for cheap.

Check in was not possible at 11 a.m. Must wait until 14:00. Top floor room offered was 29º hot!!! They intended to make us wait for air-con repair. Finally they provided us with a smaller but comfortable room at 3rd floor despite of not twin bed as requested in the booking. Breakfast was a bit poor. The taxi service booked by the hotel was not regular company and charged us 800CZK to airport!!!

I was looking for an affordable design hotel for some extra R&R after a business meeting in Prague. This hotel exceeded my epectations. The entire space is new and modern but they maintained a lot of the beautiful details from the original mbuilding. A friend's room looked out to the famous Frank Gehry building. It is comparable to rooms that are twice the price. My only issue was that the front desk did not know how to operate the air conditioning in my room. A little kink that I am sure will get worked out. This will be my first choice the next time I am in Prague.

Although breakfast was included in the internet reservation and anounced in the internet page, and confirmed in the reception at the check in, was charged at a rate of 7 euros per person per day. Was a very strange and rare situation but we were not in the mood for a fight over the 42 Euros that were overcharged in concept for breakfast. Also breakfast was very good but we would had liked the freedom to choose.
