The hotel did not have a room for me, when I arrived. They sent me to another hotel in a taxi, where the reception did not know the arrangement and offered me a sub-standard attic room with only a skylight without any view. My comment on clinliness and facilities are for the second hotel.

There is no house keeping service!! Moreover, I asked for a UK-Europe power adapter and there is none!! The staff are rather impatient and service level is poor. In general, I'd not recommend this hotel.

Staff on fornt desk were not helpful - sell you internet service - it does not work so you advise them - they shrug their shoulders as if it is my problem and n ot theirs

This would have been an excellent value hotel had it not been for the noise - it was appalling. Every night a large group of local youths not only congregated outside the hotel bar but also wandered feely throughout the hotel. Every so often they would roam the hotel corridors shouting and screaming. This went on until 4 or 5am. I've never come across anything quite like it. I lasted two sleepless nights but then moved into the hotel across the road. Aside from the noise the location was excellent, the staff were nice and the breakfast was good. Although the room was basic it was good value for the price.

The building central point, where most of the bedrooms look out onto is filthy and continously noisy due to all the a/c units blasting all day and evening until midnight. A room with this view is both depressing and very irrating with noise polution each and every time you open the window to try and get fresh air

Nice hotel with not many frills, ideal location for the city centre justa 10 minute walk. Couples beware though...Bar AXA becomes Club AXA at 20:00hrs and you WILL be approached and offered sex with the young ladies in the bar, its not seedy and everything is very smart in the club, but it may not be ideal for couples...

We booked a double bed but it was a twin one. Not very romantic, the receptionist informed us there was no avalibility. Strange we booked one month in advance. When you pass the reception nobody says hello, nobody smiles.

The room we had was on 1st floor at the back of the hotel, no outlook at all with very ill fitting windows. Duvets needed to be replaced as did most of the towels. Room was clean and when we asked for more pillows they were there very promptly.

Great hotel. Near Old and New Prague. Bar stays open late. And A Swimming pool and sauna in the basement. (Check opening times)Just up the road from the underground station. Good buffett breakfest.

Basic. No bar, beds not v comfy but adequate.
