My room was basic but was functional. Only downside was it was next to the lift so was noisy at night with latecomers. I did request a room with a veiw but as I was a solo traveller this was NEVER going to be Breakfast was very basic.

Bathroom was not very clean, breakfast is till 10.30 but when we came down at 10.00 there was not so much left. On special request food was being delivered. The rest impeccable.

Very well located twohundred meteres from train station. The airport shuttle stops also 200 meters from it. Taxi ride to airport at 5am took 15 minutes Rooms were small, clean.

Ideal situation for tourists, convenient for airport tube line, very helpfull staff and reasonably priced. A good value hotel. Rooms overlooking square get traffic noise but pleasant view.

My evaluation is based on very poor sound isolation.It is impossible to sleep when busy traffic noise comes through old wooden windows.

Rooms at front and side of hotel suffer from road traffic noise. Back rooms are quiet.

Basic but adequate breakfast, room opposite reception so extremely noisy as bell rang constantly after midnight if people needed to be let in by reception. Fantastic location and next to very good cafe/restaurant. Good value for money.

There was a lot of noise in de night becuse the rooms isn´t soundproof, and the bed is very old and it do much noise.

If we stayed at this hotel again we would ask not to be put in room 411. As it happened we spent almost all of our time in Porto away from the hotel but had we wanted to spend time in the room we would not have been inclined to do so as it was not a nice room. It was a very odd shape and dark. Passing other rooms with open doors we noted that they were all superior to the one we were in and we would have preferred to have paid a little more and had a nicer room.

Very central hotel, handy for the exploration of Porto and as we did all our travelling in Portugal by train, and the hotel is a short walk from the station. Staff very helpful and friendly, and all reception staff spoke excellent English and several other languages. The rooms although small, were clean and beds very comfy. We would be happy to go back to this hotel again.
