Hotel was very nice. Helpful and courteus personnel. Room was very clean and maintained. Excellent climate control. Breakfast buffet was very good and complete. Will stay again. Nice downhill 10 min walk to city center . Metro station at 400 meters

Tyrp Porto Centro Hotel is an excellent hotel. It's clean, modern and not too far away from the city centre and Sta Caterina (the main shopping strip in Porto). The hotel is a 10 minute walk away from the town centre (downhill), and the reception staff are friendly and recommended some great restaurants to eat at by the river. I would definitely return to the Tryp Porto.

Hotel is an excellent place to stay while visiting Porto. Its about a 15 min walk from the Rio Douro and is close to Santa Catarina, which is a major commerical street in Porto. The staff are very helpful and always accomodating. The rooms are spacious and the decor is just lovely. By far one of the best cheap hotels I've stayed at. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering visiting Porto/Vila Nova de Guia.

It was a great, modern hotel, and for the price, what a deal!!! the only thing is that its a bit of a walk from the centre (like 25 min. max) but if you dont mind the walk, its a great way to experience the city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to Porto, it really added a lot to our stay... and there's a very friendly brazilian bar-tender called Andersson, keep an eye out for him!
