in spite of description: roof bar closed swimmingpool closed Dinner was not as expected, cold plates and cold meat, which was changed by kitchen after we complained. Business center works for Internet-access with proxy server, which dosen´t allow many contacts..... No English language available on their system. Service personal was very good, friendly and very helpful.

Ipanema is a big hotel a little bit decentrated ( 20 minutes to reach the tube) The building is a little bit old, rooms are clean and the restaurant quit nice

Nice hotel with a warm welcome. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good value for money. The only problem is the location: you are about 45min walking distance from the city center (for those who like walking of course). I would recommend this hotel to people who like a quiet atmosphere and don't mind taking a cab to the city center. Good overalll experience.

I have stayed at the Ipanema park sevreal times now, and always the staff are helpful, the hotel is clean and facilities fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend it as is great value for money

Use the underground car park or the parking in front of the hotel as the land next to hotel is open to vandals. Location is not great if you do not have a car as it is 'out of town' with little in surrounding area. Hotel is comfortable. Breakfast room is too small for number of guests and a bit of a scrum, particularly as Europeans do not like to queue. Lack of non smoking rooms - only 1 floor

I found this an excelent hotel and good value for money. The staff were excelent and very friendly. The location oa the hotel was a bit seedy and there wasn't a lot to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Having said that it was very central for visiting the Porto area.
