only problem it was further out than i thought in porto costs in taxis to centre i could hve stayed in higher class hotel not enough information given when booking

Rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms at the streetside were not that quiet because of the busy road in front. Location is somewhat out of the centre, but bus 600 just around the corner)takes you downtown within 20 minutes. The temperature in the swimmingpool made it feel like a sauna. And don't forget your bathing cap!

The hotel staff is nice and helpfull. We booked 3 rooms which were quite spacious and clean. An internet wireless connection is available in rooms, but the connection is not free, and I couldn't use it because subscription cards are not available. Hopefully, there's an internet cafe not far away from the hotel! ;o)

A fair way out of Porto but easy access as the bus stop located 100m from the hotel. The bus also stops at Hospital san Jaoa which has lots of bus and metro connections. Good breakfast. Has swiiming pool etc but too busy to try those facilities.

A good value functional hotel particularly if travelling by car as there is free parking available. It is NOT a city centre hotel as described but easy to get into the centre by car, or by buses which stop outside the hotel. The hotel has good facilities which are not really promoted - underutised restaurant and keep-fit facilities. Overall, I would certainly stay there again.
