This hotel may have been 3* before, but it's more like 2* now, with a push. The general condition of the rooms is not great - not very clean and in definite need of redoing. The room was very small. The tiny shower cubicle leaked, meaning the bathroom floor got all wet, and the bidet was opposite the toilet so closely that you couldn't fit your legs through. One of the staff members at the reception was a bit rude to us when we arrived. The price you have to pay is ridiculous for the state of the hotel and the rooms. It is only a breath away from the Leaning Tower, but this is not so important since Pisa is such a small place that everything is within walking distance. The price they charge is really high for what they offer. Overall, not too impressed and wouldn't recommend this hotel unless they decide to redo it completely to reach the standard of the 3* hotel they claim it to be.

Not what I expected. It was rated a 4 star but was in fact a 3 star. Old style with dark wooden furniture and unusually all doors opening out the way. Breakfast provided and ideally situated for sightseeing. Very clean.

Nice clean room, 1min walk to the Leaning Tower, which I could see from my bedroom window! Great value for money. Excellent restaurant out front. Gorgeous food! Friendly, welcoming staff. Get a bus from station if have heavy luggage. Rent bicycles(leaflet in hotel) available from beside the Tower for a great tour of the town.

This hotel was small and facilities were limited but as it was a Bed & Breakfast accommodation we were not expecting anything too fancy - although for the cost of our stay it was more than good value, staff were incredibly friendly, the location was superb and although breakfast was OK there was a restaurant attached to the hotel which was great, good food, good wine, etc. Would recommend highly.

Located near the tower, at the end of a tourist trap market street. The hotel is dated and badly in need of a refurbishment. Room was dated and poor, staff were not that great and the breakfast was poor. Staying slightly further away from the tower in Pisa is definitely advisable.

The location is the BEST feature of this hotel - it is only 100 yds from the Leaning Tower etc. and some rooms have views of the Tower. However everything is else is below average. The en-suite bathrooms are tiny and need upgraded - I had to step over the bidet to get out of the shower, the lounge area is also pretty basic as was the breakfast and all the carpets need replaced. Be careful trying to get a taxi in the morning (8am weekday ) - there were no taxis to be found at the rank opposite or that could be ordered by phone - we were told the next nearest rank was at the Central Station. We went for a bus but ended up walking to the Central Station complete with bags only to find no taxis and we had just missed a train the the airport - luckily it's not far to the airport from the station - did you kow if you are reasonably fit (we are late 50s) you can walk to the airport from the Leaning Tower in 45 minutes! Not advised though!

The Hotel was clean, bedding and towels changed every day but it could do with a bit of brightening up and a bit of tender loving care. Staff very friendly and helpful, speaking quite good english. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, tables did not seem to be set up ready for breakfast and had to be hurriedly cleared when the next party came down,rolls, jam etc being moved from one table to another. There was not a toilet in the reception area which meant that we had to go up to our room when we needed one. We were disappointed we could not get a drink in the hotel bar but had to go to the restaurant next door.which I might add was very good and reasonable. The choice of meals and the quality were excellent. Location of the hotel was superb in sight of the tower, and an easy walk to the bus stop. To sum up we enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.
