At check in time, there was some type of discrepancy regarding my reservation confirmation; therefore, the hotel did not have me logged as a guest at check-in time. The hotel was blaming Gulliver's travel agency and Gulliver's travel was blaming the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful at attempting to resolve the issue. After about 1 hour the hotel was able to open up a room for us. To say the least, the room was not impressive. We passed other clients' rooms that seemed slightly better-looking than ours. Very cramped quarters. I was not a fan of the shower over looking the toilet. The facility should be classified a hostel not a hotel. Because this facilty was previously a monastery, the courtyard is pleasant to look at. But much is left to be said about the rooms. If you ever check into this hotel make sure you're not given room 122.

Myself and my wife stayed at the hotel for our first wedding anniversary, the hotel could not have been more helpfull and the surrounding city has everything you could want for a short or long stay. the hotel is in a very quite part of pisa and the staff are very helpfull for directions and for ideas of where to go and what to do. The hotel has such a calm and warm feeling to it, allthough the rooms are basic they have everything you need. the way the whole hotel is set out you feel relaxed and very at home. We would not hesitate to return to pisa and this hotel.

The converted convent would not suit everyone, being a 25 minute walk from the main tourist attraction, and the rooms are very simple (but cleam). Howver, the cloisters give the hotel a wonderful atmosphere. We would return any time.

A delicious oasis in quiet surroundings yet very close to attractions and citylife. The most friendly and serviceminded staff and a wellstructured cleaning department. The "cells" provide quietness for eyes and mind and the beds have the exact kind of base to provide a good nights sleep. We will defenitely be coming back.

Our room was in one of the oldest part of the building. It was clean but small and by modern day standards 'dark'. However it was full of character, very quiet and the bed comfortable. It will help if you can (forgive me) enter into the 'spirit' of things. A late night drink over looking the central square and breakfast in same the location are memorable. It is also within walking distance of the railway station and the city centre and an easy taxi ride from the airport.b There isn't a host of places to visit/eat & drink in the immediate vicinity but for a short stay - its different!

The room is a bit noisy as I can hear people walking and dragging luggages at midnight. In terms of location, feel it's a bit far from the city center, esp. when it's not easy to get a taxi from the street at evening time. But the receptionists and service people there are friendly and helpful.
