Swimming pool is a public pool next door to the hotel. Hotel website indicated thart it was near the airport it could not have been further away. Not a 4 star hotel , very tried.

A good location if you do not wnt Pisa on your doorstep and ideally situated exactly halfway between Pisa and Lucca (well worth a visit). Can be busy as very popular with coach tours. Not sure it would make my ideal long holiday stay as quite basic, but ideal for my weekend break. Good staff.

Whilst this hotel advertises that it has an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts, in fact the swimming pool is indoor and is not part of the hotel, but is a public pool next to the hotel for which you have to pay. THe tennis courts were also public and cost to use.

The air conditioning is not switched on until later in the afternoon which makes it very uncomfortable when you arrive. Staff are very friendly as are the local people. Breakfast is very poor for a 4* hotel so we did not bother to eat in the restaurant. Free water in the fridge which was very nice. No views from the windows as they are shuttered.

We stayed here in the winter when there weren't many people here, so it may be different in summer. The desk help was very preoccupied and not too helpful with our needs. The restaurant was mediocre at best, as was the food. This hotel is quite a way from most of Pisa, and is quite a drive from most places. If you are planning to go to Pisa for a sightseeing trip, a day is enough for that as far as I could tell.

It should NOT be 4 stars hotel at all. The hotel doses NOT meet any 4 stars hotel’s standards from any aspects except the price.
