The location is great. We found the restaurant choice to be limited in terms of menu and very pricey. Concierge staff were not very helpful and car parking costs extra. We parked for free down the road. Needs a facelift to justify the price for room.

Good service from willing and friendly staff at a hotel that needs updating and is looking a little tired. Room and bed were fine, but bathroom only ok. The surrounding restaurants and bars are pretty ordinary, I'm afraid. The location on the beach is wonderful though, and not so far from town but definitely not 15 minutes - more like 25 (or 35 - 45 in traffic). Go to Subiaco for nightlife.

Lovely spacious room with full-sized dining table and nice ocean view although the windows needed cleaning. We enquired re price of buffet breakfast and nearly collapsed when told they charge $46 per person. Needless to say, we ate elsewhere. Very comfy bed but pathetic air-conditioner which went between freezing cold and hot air when left on. It was impossible to turn it off.

Accomodation was specifically for two Queen beds. Initially put in a room with one queen bed. Took a lot of effort to change rooms and they were very reluctant to honour the booking. The hotel is in a great location for the beach but getting a taxi to the city or airport ranged from very difficult to impossible. Fortunately bus and rail link to the city was good and inexpensive. Rooms are getting old and fittings either didn't work such as the wardrobe doors or were badly fixed. Toilet was set at an angle, very uncomfortable. Bedroom door security was suspect. A drunk was able to bash through the door at 5.30 am. He was handled by security after getting him out of the room.

The room was good ,location was good, the pines restaurant the food was average and over priced. It would be ok if you were rich but for the average person we found it to expensive to eat there. We found it was better to eat at the DOME CAFE which we thought was very good and affordable.

The staffs are friendly, but the service wise, i rather would say that they should improvise in the housekeeping. The used cups are not washed.(it wouldn't take so much time to actually do that). We stayed there for 7 days and the 3rd day of my stay, i could see dust flying in the room. They could actually vaccum the rooms at least two days once. i didn't expect the parking to be expensive even though we are the guest there.!! Sad to say that we were not even given a complimentary mineral water bottles! As a 5 star hotel, well i expected more but sad to say it didn't meet my expectations!!!

As a member of of the Rendevous Club I would have expected to get a room cheaper than over the internet. I rang Rendevous Club asking for a better price, but they basically said, big deal. What is the point of joining. We did use our upgrade which gave us ocean views but the rooms and furniture are old. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room really clean.

Even though I had been told the hotel was tired' I thought everything was terrific and the staff were excellent - very helpful. Food is well priced. All good.

A very nice hotel in a prime location. I found the room very comfortable and the bed afforded a really good nights sleep. The cooked breakfast wasn't all that brilliant and was pricey too!

The hotel has spectacular views and the rooms are beautifully appointed. I was surprised that toaster in my room was VERY old and shabby and tripped the power switch, cutting off power to my room. Small complaint but it was out of place in such a classy hotel.
