We usually have a good experience at Ascot but this time a number of things went wrong. 1. Our bed was made as twins not double 2. My 'complimentary' drink never arrived 3. Room service didn't answer the phone for breakfast Room service food for dinner was great as usual. Ended up going to the restaurant for breakfast. We were able to extend our checkout to allow for this.

We requested to change our room in the counter because the room was noise. The staff told us that he was busy at the moment and would come back to us later, but nothing was happened until we checked out after 5 days. We found that they made a note to change our room in our check-in form but no one had followed. Also, the kitchen was not tidy and the fridge was not clean.

Service was very bad for the following reasons: The room wasn't ready on time (2pm) when we called twice that morning to make sure it would be. We were charged for minibar when nothing was taken from it. We were sent an incorrect receipt for the room stating a different price to what we had been charged for before we stayed. We had to call the hotel and were later advised that we weren't meant to get that particular receipt. Overall very disappointed and will not be staying there again.

I would recommend Ascot Quays to friends and family. We felt very at home. The food was lovely and not overly priced. We were able to check out slightly later at no extra cost. We were able to use the facilities after we had booked out, while waiting for our flight. It is 15 minutes from the airport and had amenities nearby. The views from our room were fantastic, looking over to Perth city and we watched the sunset over Swan river which was beautiful.

check in was at 2pm we arrived at five past to be told it would be a least 15 mins till our room would be ready due to not being clean we were not happy with this as we had a wedding to attend at 3pm and all i was told was that we have been very busy, which to me meet to bad. the next morning at breakfast it took 20mins to get two coffees that we orded. great rooms not so good service need to look at the staff.

We stay at Assured Ascot Quays regularly. Well located and presented place, friendly staff and very popular restaurant and bar with the locals. Only black spot is that you can hear heaps of noise. Even the birds on the lawn in the park 5 flights up can be heard with all windows and doors shut. This has not been a problem for us as we can wake and fall back asleep easily, but could be for light or nervous sleepers. Great walks by the Swan River and close to both airports.

We had been upgraded to a Penthouse 2-bedroom unit despite it was an agent-booking. The hotel also allowed our request for later check out at 1130h (standard is 1000h) to accommodate our flight. These were the most valuable service given. Other than that, the view from the apartment is great, you will have both the 2 views, Perth city skyline & the Swan river view. Also the close proximity to the airport is a plus.

The Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent close to both the airport & City. The restaurant food, service & staff were excellent. No hesitation in recommending.
