This is an old Hotel so it is a bit different. Supposed superior room was a bit cramped and paint was peeling off the balcony. Service was good but maintenance could have been better. Location great, so many great restaurants and bars within walking distance.

We arrived during a Croatian festival. Our complaint is with regard to the food.We both like hot food to be hot. The soup was luke warm as were the main dishes - also breakfast. The staff were faultless especially the German waiter called Peter in the Lounge Bar - nothing was too much trouble The same with the porters & desk. Because of the disappointment with the food we may not stay at the Esplanade again

Lovely hotel in perfect location, close to everything. Beautiful resort pool and very nice rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar prices a little expensive.

I left a number of items in the room when we booked out, however housekeeping were very helpful in retrieving these and keeping them safe until I was able to collect. Thanks for being helpful and understanding.

Disappointing first night which Karen at reception put right in good measure the following day - However I would have cancelled and moved otherwise! The staff were helpful and whilst we never ate at the hotel - the contest with the waterfront is too great - it was popular locally. The first impressions do however let the hotel down and it does appear a little tired

Rooms excellent and the in-room internet was the best service and value anywhere I have stayed Restaurant and bar service excellent and food was excellent also Valet parking is expensive and there is no self-park option provided

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE STAYED HERE. BOTH TIMES THE NOISE DURING THE NIGHT FROM PERSONS IN THE CORRIDORS WAS TOO LOUD. IT SPOILED WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ENJOYABLE STAY.

Relaisitically the only choice for top rate accommodation in the centre of Fremantle. Beautiful old hotel with in-keeping new additions. New outdoorool area particularly nice, and pool is heated. Old rooms are a bit dingy with poor bedside lighting and, oddly, no headboards.

Definately will stay there again for the right price. The buffet meals are a bit expensive - nicer to find something to eat at the local restaurants/cafes.

The hotel is locted in a very nice part of Fremantle with in walking distance of the Cafe`strip, Old Goal, and across the road from the water. The hotel is very clen and the food is quite good.

$25.00 per day for valet service way over the top. Who wants to spend $70.00 for breakfast for two people? Enjoyed the stay, but too pricey for the average person. Delux suite had view of roof ...... Purchased internet use for 1 hour. Not told it could only be used at first login. ($11.00)
