Guests can enjoy the bar, garden, and terrace of the hotel, and will find each room offers its own personalized touch and atmosphere. Outside, guests can enjoy the hotel's private tree-bordered terrace. 25 rooms are all elegantly appointed with contemporary furniture. Local artists created the paintings which serve as the head boards for guest beds. The hotel's cozy and warm atmosphere was created by designer Paul Sartres, known for his work on the sumptuous Mamounia hotel in Marrakech.

We recently stayed in Paris on either side of a trip to Provence. We stayed at the Le Walt first and another hotel in the Latin Quarter on the return. The LeWalt was truly a wonderful experience in everyRead more way. We arrived the day of a taxi strike and had to walk from Les Invalides entrace about 4 blocks to the hotel with our luggage in tow. At that point, we were about ready to drop, especially after the transatlantic fllight. The woman at the desk was wonderful. Just a charming person, very polite. Offered us a beverage, had our room ready and offered help with our luggage.
The room was perfect. I had requested a nice room because it was a special event and was not disappointed. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower and the tree-lined streets around the hotel. The room was spotless, the bathroom beautiful and large by Paris standards. The bed was large and extremely comfortable. We had breakfast in the hotel every day, although it would have been easy to go a block and eat at any of the cafe's on Rue Cler and had a great meal. The proximity to the metro (right across the street) and many attractions and restaurants can't be beat.
More than anything, though, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Charlotte, who helped us a lot, was great. She made dinner reservations for us at several wonderful little places not in the guide books. She helped book a tour for us. Called a cab when we needed one and loan us umbrellas when it rained.
I would stay here again any time.

We paid for a deluxe room but all rooms are "deluxe" to my knowledge. The other "superior" (cheaper) room is in the outside courtyard and is quite dark. Staff were totally policy driven. We couldn't sleepRead more due to noise from down stairs and on complaining they lied by saying they had no other rooms left then eventually that we could move higher but would need to pay more. Our room looked like a disabled room with chips in the plaster. Staff chant bonjour with the most insincere smile you could imagine and were quite patronising. Our only experience with this attitude in Paris was unfortunately from this hotel. On the positive- the location was great. Recommend dont getting a cheap deal over the net as they will make you feel like you are not worthy of being there. All staff are very young and obviously inexperienced.

Location of the hotel is good. The metro is right out the front door.
Close to Eiffel Tower and Hotel Invalides. Not impressed with restaurants near hotel.
Expensive protperty for what you get.

Hotel Le Walt is a brilliant little "boutique" hotel in a very convenient location (right next to the metro). The rooms were small (expected) and well fitted out. I think it has been recently refurbished.Read more The bathroom was modern and very clean.
We had an attic room which was really nice. The room was front facing and you could see the Eiffel Tour in the background.
The reception/breakfast room was decorated in a very modern style and the staff were helpful and approachable. The buffet breakfast, however, was poor. A few dry pastries, slice of ham etc. We didn't mind as we ate out anyway!
A good restaurant is Georges. It is a contemporary and trendy French/Asian fusion restaurant located on the top floor of the Centre Georges Pompidou (shopping centre). It is outside, so if the weather is unreliable then take/ wear something warm! It's worth a vist as the view of Paris is great.
