This is the worse hotel I've ever stayed at in Europe! After numerous conversations and attempted emails, the promised car service from the EuroStar did not happen. The hotel staff, Alex in particular, was horrible. The only person that was competent was Mike, the night manager. The room was marginally clean, no fan, no air conditioning. The promised WiFi internet access only worked from the lobby and not in the rooms. Further, it was not functional most of our stay. We dared not to eat the buffet breakfast because we saw mice whilst in the dining room using the internet. And, the bread, etc. was put out the night before, with mice around, for people to eat the next morning. House keeping was a joke and we had to constantly beg them to come back to empty trash. The bathroom smelled horrible, there was little hot water and the door did not even close properly. The final insult was the car service we were promised on our departure. It was actually the hotel handyman's truck, complete with junk, that we had to ride it. It only had 2 seats so 2 of us had to kneel to get to the train station. Stay clear of this dump unless you want mice, poor service, a manager with attitude (Alex), no internet service and smelly garbage in the hall near the front desk. A horrible mess!

the hotel is quite nice, helpful employees, cute and efficiently organized room and kitchen and the rooms would be quite quiet if it were not for the 'campers'. the area is not nice, (think: trainstation areas...2 of them) and the biggest problem is that there seems to be some homeless people that have set up camp just infront of the hotel. we've been told that the problem has existed since Christmas; police have been notified, and did take them away, but they keep coming back. They now have set-up a whole campsite and set fires, drink and yell loudly day and night. This makes it very unpleasant to keep windows open (I think this will be a huge problem in summer time if there is no air condition) and to walk by them when entering the hotel. All the rooms face into this alleyway, so changing rooms will not help the situation. Otherwise, my husband and I liked it there, and if you don't mind walking, it has some interesting areas nearby, especially if you like to shop for bargins! Lots of grocery stores (at least 4 within 10-15min, 2 within 5min) that you can stock up on. There is a maid that comes to clean daily (if you want) and there are enough bath towels, pots,pans, dishes and cutlery, but you have to buy your own dish soap/rags/cloths (which is no problem with all the cheap stores around the area). We enjoyed our stay, but would not recomend this hotel (especially to single females) unless they get rid of the 'campers'.

I think that passage dubail is a great solution for who wants to visit paris. If you don't like french food you can cook in the room. There are many markets near the hotel and the Metro is reachable in a few minutes.

We found the staff to be very obliging to be of help. The room also had a kitchen facility which we were happy to have available. Wi-Fi was available at no additional charge. The hotel is close to both the subway & rail lines which provides additional convenience. Although the room is simple we feel that this hotel is a wise choice for anyone seeking a short stay for business purposes or for a personal getaway. The hotel also has an elevator which is helpful in bringing luggage to the room. (Some hotels in this area only have staircases.) We would consider staying at this hotel for our next visit to Paris.

A quiet place, near to underground; godd relationship between quality and price. Problems : bathroom too small; kitchinette equipment to complete : dishes and cutlery are missing; often not enough electric power for cooking

Easy to find, quiet location. View from windows not attractive. Small well equipped kitchenette with glasses, cutlery, sharp knife and plates. Front desk manned most of the time - which was good. Underground garage cramped but cheap relatively. 7 minutes from Metro. Not a lot within walking distance
