Good Hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. This is a real find it does actually offer a buffet breakfast with a good selection of food and plenty of everything, breakfast cereals, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit, stewed prunes, pinapples, cooked breakfast, selection of cheese and bread, pain aux raisin, pain aux chocolate. Tea and coffee, as much as you want and fruit juice. Breakfast is 13 euros extra but well worth it, particularly if you consider a cup of tea costs virtually 5 euros and a piece of bread 2 euros if you go to a cafe. The surroundings are lively and safe and there are several small super markets near by. I would certainly recommend the accomodation - forget the supplement for a room on the garden side - its not worth it and dont forget to ask for the no smoking floor as the other bedrooms smell strongly of cigarettes.

I was visiting Paris with my (hopefully) future wife for 3 nights. Well, okay, also for the days to do some sightseeing and to enjoy the savoir vivre. The hotel is not super central (30 minutes walk to Jardin du Luxembourg / Sorbonne / Notre Dame) but it is pleasantly located at a lively junction with bars, restaurants and also fast food offerings. A Metro station in 50 meters distance brings you directly to places such as Montparnasse, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysee, Pigalle and Sacre Coeur. You can reach all other destinations like the Eiffel Tower by changing the train only once. That said, the connection into the heart of the city and to the sights is excellent. We came by car since we spent two other days at Euro Disney and wanted to stay flexible –- you could also do this by Metro/RER. A parking garage is just 25 meters away, although somewhat costly for Europeans. Next corner to the hotel is a beautiful little bar called Dupont where we always had our sun downers until two o’clock in the morning. Oh boy, I wish I be there right now. Highlight of the restaurant on the other side, called Convention, is certainly the waiter. Funny little guy who’s fluent in English. However, the price/quality ratio of the food was bad. Price/quality ratio of the hotel was very good, though. The rooms are clean and lovely decorated -- somewhat a boutique hotel -- but not so spacious, which is sort of common for European hotels.
