Opera Franklin had no rooms, so they moved me to Opera Cadet, about a block away. No other problems. Nice room, great location.

Good basic hotel. Near two metro stops and walking distance to Galerie La Fayette which is nice. Had a room on the ground floor in the courtyard so no windows except the ones on the door - we had to keep the curtain closed so nobody could see in. Room was a nice size with a good bathroom.

It's probably just above average for a 3*, but no real complaints considering price. Rooms can get quite hot, as air-con is not great. It's about a 10-15min walk to Opera area.

The room was quite small, with just enough space for the double bed, the television, and a small closet without a light that was when you opened the door to the room. I suppose this is to be expected in Paris, but we did have other issues. On check in we asked if we had to make a reservation for the Moulin Rouge as we wanted to go during the week. We were told that you just needed to go and no reservation was necessary. During the week we went to go to the Moulin Rouge and asked for directions from reception, and were told that we MUST have a reservation, and that he would phone for us to see if there was availability. He got off the phone and told us that they were booked up until Sunday. He recommended that we go to Lido instead as we were leaving on Saturday, for which he had reservation slips ready. In other words don't trust the staff to help you out for what you want as they are on commission from certain places. (we called into the Moulin Rouge the next day and they had availability in both their 7 & 11 o' clock shows, to which we went.) Also when we checked in we were told breakfast was downstairs between 7 & 10, which was fine, but when we checked out there was an extra €13 per person per day added to my bill I asked what this was for and I was told breakfast. Never once was I told that breakfast was not included in the price and no where in the hotel was the price displayed. I explained this to the staff member and he didn't disagree that it was not displayed. Over all the hotel is small, but nice but the staff are really the main issue.
