Strongbox unavailable because it was locked, and no one managed to unlock it! Lighting was a little haphazard, but the staff responded to a request to sort this. Breakfast was very good but my husband would have preferred a proper French stick and not the small hard sticks provided.

This hotel is too old. No ventilation in toilet. Avoid rooms facing road, very noisy. Air-condition is not working in end May. Very hot. Strange rule that you are not allowed to eat in the room, while they can serve breakfast in your room. Definitely won't go back again.

the neva was good value hotel and the parisians very friendly the only thing we would comment about was that there was a plumbing problem in our room and i think it affected the whole floor - there was a terrible smell permeating through the rooms. apart from that everything else was great

Not really a great hotel. There are many hotels with the same rate at the same area. We changed hotels to Great Western after staying at Neva for two days. As expected the hotel room was small. That's ok but when we asked for coffee and tea making facilities, the reception claimed that we couldn't eat in the room, which was weird cos they said that if we wanted we could have breakfast served in our room! They even asked us to go down to the reception to get the hot water from them. Not recommended to stay in this hotel.

Two single beds pushed together do not make a double bed, particuarly when the beds slide apart as easily as these did. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Reception staff were very friendly & spoke good English. The location was excellent, near L'Arc de Triomphe which has a metro station underneath. Shops and cafes are nearby. We would be happy to saty again.

Location is awesome, rooms and facilities are less than expected from description and price. Staff was friendly towards costumers but on one occation not to each other (in front of guests!).

The hotel room was extremely little, there was not space to go around the bed!!!! The TV was not functioning. In the internet information the check -in time was said to be at 1 p.m., but it was not, it was 2 p.m. - thet was one of the reasons we wanted to selct that hotel beacause our flight got in to Paris very early in the morning.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. I would have preferred coffee facilities in the room as an extra though.

This hotel was great, so central (around the corner from Metro and Arc de Triomphe). It seems to be very newly refurbished, so everything is spotlessly clean and nice. For the price I felt it was very good value. Didn't have the breakfast so don't know what that was like, but otherwise would highly recommend it. The street was pretty quiet also, so we got our sleep.
