When I arrived to this hotel there was no room for 1st night. They proposed me another hotel for one night but I've paid in advance(!) for all stay. Other hotel was cheaper and with no hot water... After for 3 days I was trying to contact manager of Villa Van Gogh - with no single answer... Even quality, location and hospitality of staff was good due quality of manager I'll NEVER take this hotel. 2nd attempt at submitting this. Location Good. Bed firm though sustained bites down sleeping side? Shower worked well though very very small. Hairdryer works but slower than a toilet hand dryer.no actual plug socket except shaver socket which indicated shaver socket ONLY. staff advised to use this. My dual voltage travel iron did not work. If it had how would i have ironed mid air in a shower room?? No plug socket except behind a backboard inside the warderobe where the tv was plugged into. NB A standard travel plug adaptor would be to wide to fit into this gap. My boyfriend purchased an extension lead and rewired each of my appliances through this. THe hotel neither has a laundry room on site - down the street - no iron. Very small dark stairway - whoosh air noise constant from lift too. Awaiting response from Complaint ignored by venere cust services. Compensation required as appauling description of hotel facilities.

Niemals wieder / never again / plus une seule fois; we were very dissatisfied: we had rented 2 (one for us and one for our children) so called "superior" rooms - with the special and explicid wish to have "view" ( we said to ourselfs - lets pay more and get a room in wich we can be shure that we don`t have the feeling being caged in our holidays). And we got the confirmation about it over venere by email. When we entered the hotel on eve June 21 we got 2 similar very small chambers with the only one windows facing in a distance of about 1,5m a very ugly fire wall in the 3rd and 4th floor. So we went down to the reception with our printed "superior" confirmation and complained - not about the space (we didnt really expect in a city like Paris to get big rooms) - but about the "view". The receptionist said - ok I will check for you tommorow morning 2 rooms on the frontside of the hotel ( were the windows showing in this nice litle street for wich we choosed the hotel - like showed in the internet) Ok - we agreed. The morning after the new receptionist didn´t know anything about it but promised - ok I will check it for you till the eve. In the eve a new receptionist........it went on like that ( for shure we had not really a driver to find at this point a other hotel on day 2nd if the whole stay is only 3 days). At least we spoke to the owner and told him - Ok - we accept it like it is but for shure we are not paying the "superior" price. He said " It is already very cheap but he gives us a discount of 5%" We were not agreeing standing on the position after not geting a "superior" room only want to pay for what we got - a normal room. The owner played immideatly the hard role - said its not his problem that we didnt get the right info its the problem of venere and called the police - telling them we dont want to pay - they came - 4 man and forced use to pay the full price for the "superior" rooms. (we even didn´t get the 5 % discont - so the owner won the power figh

Thanks to the beautiful photos posted on the website, I'm very dissappointed when I arrive at the hotel. The lobby and dinning area is nice, but the room and other public areas are not what I expected. I was struck by a very strong odor when I stepped out of the elevator. I booked a room with a double bed, but it provided two pillows in different sizes; one regular and another very very tiny! The bathroom light buzzed like hell whenever it's turned on. The hotel employee is very attentive though in helping me improve the quality of the room; however, he still cannot solve the crazy buzzing sound in the bathroom! I would not recommand this hotel to anyone staying more than two nights and certainly not to first-time visitor to Paris!

Everthings was fine, except that the pictures in the web indicated to find a somewhat larger room than we actually got. Location very good between "Pigalle" and "Trinite", so it was easy to get on the Metro or bus.

Very peaceful in the middle of Paris. The hotel cooperate with an airport shuttlebus, which was very useful (and not too expensive; €15 pr. person. On the negative side: The beds were not comfortably; very old and worn out.
