Hotel Rive Gauche has a perfect location. It is just a few minutes walk to Notre Dame, The Louvre, Saint Sulpice and the famous " Cafe Flore", Brasseri Lipp etc. The rooms are small, and some of them very small. But - it´s cheap.Do not eat breakfast at the hotel. There are cafes in the neighborhood.

This must be one of the dirtiest tiny hotel rooms in Paris.We booked for three nights and could not stay any nights as it was dirty.I am annoyed that we had to pay for one night as it was their policy. Would you please try and get our 92 Eur from them as they did not fulfill their promise of a cosy and typically Parisian structure.Will you please help.

1. BE CAREFUL - we were over charged. After we left we were charged an extra day. Because the hotel is so noisey and low quality, after one night we decided to leave, but to be fair and comply with the 2 day notice policy, we gave 3 days notice and told 1 clerk and the manager. They said no problem - no mention of an extra charge. We are now disputing with our credit card co. 2. We would rate the hotel as a lower end one star property - it does not deserve 2 stars. 3. The bath, bedroom, bed, furnishings and linens were of very low quality and asthetics. 4. Noise from the hall and adjacent rooms was loud and beyond reasonable.

Very convenient to many tourist spots but on a street with a lot of loud traffic all night. Ask for a room that does not face the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful and all spoke English, but they were not able to come up with a hair dryer for our room. Room was small but adequate.

Situated close to the Reine, opposite the Louvre,in the Latin Quarters it's a good overnight stay in the heart of Paris not too expensive for a traveller.
