Staff are not so friendly and helpful. The price is a bit expensive as compared with other similar hotels nearby, especially the hotel is under refurnishing when we stayed there.

This is the worst hotel in the world, full of liar and thief. We got a room that looks completely different from what we reserved on the website. Dirty carpet that looks like it's never clean. Poor and old equipments in the room. No sound proof walls at all, you could hear all the noise outside. Worse of all, the front desk lady is scarry and bossy.

the room wasen't the same as on the photos, but we totaly enjoyed kindness of the employees. we had a clean room, what else can you ask. the quality/price where ok you dont get any cheeper 3 stars well located for this price. Anyhow the room is just 4 the night so if u vist a lot during the day you dont spent much time in your room so it doesn't matter if its not quite the same as you saw on the internet. we liked it and would return.

I serahed the web site for around a hour to find a modern looking hotel.When I found the Hotel Renoir I selected it becasuse it had a nice reception and the rooms looked modern.When I arrived at the hotel I noticed that the Hotel was not the same as the hotel from the pictures.I was very disappointed.I later found out that up the road from my hotel was a second Hotel Renoir and this was the hotel that I had seen on the Web.I asked the man at this recption if this hotle was connected to the hotel that i was staying in and he told me that they recieve all the booking and just put people into one of three hotels in the area.This is false advertisting at it worst.Most people who book a hotel on the internet book it becasuse of the pictures provided ,if the picture are now of a different hotel was the point in booking online.You would have a better chance of win the lottery then selecting a good hotel.For this reason I will not used this web site again.Disappointed User.

Hotel was ok in general terms. Location quite good. Had a problem with the paperwork. I believed that this booking included breakfast as confirmed by a phone call to Venere and with confirmation at the check in on the day of arrival. I was staggered to find that when checking out that all of this assumption had changed. The lady on the desk was adamant that no breakfast is included on these rates. The person checking us in should have known that and made a mistake in telling us that breakfast was included. Despite half an hour of arguing we had to pay for the breakfast (only 40 Euros for 4 breakfasts)but the principle annoys me still. The lesson here is to get the name of anybody you talk to at Venere. They back up the hotelier in saying that breakfast should not have been included. Also ensure that you get everything in writing. I could have got a better deal with a hot breakfast elsewhere if I had known in advance. Also be aware if yuo travel by Eurostar, that conment are preying on new arrivals who are standing at the Metro map looking for their routes. We were led by a guy to a self service machine where he purchased our tickets and we paid him in cash. It turned out that we paid far too much to him in return for single trip tickets. When we asked at the Metro station later we were told that this is very common. Yet, there are no warnings anywhere to be seen on the Metro or on the Gare Du Nord or even on Eurostar. I have checked with other people since I have returned and it seems that it happens a lot. These two separate incidents, spoilt my two days in Paris.

overall a good stay! perfect location! not too far from Montparnasse Bienvenue Train station!!! though prices are somewhat exaggerated for the quality of the rooms!! but I would stay with them again. don't do the tour that they offer of Versailles! you're better off going there on your own!! 65 euros per person is highly exaggerated!!! breakfast is NOT included in the price, but of course, they don't tell you that in the beginning!! this site is cool, venere.com is a site that i would use again!

We were basically not greeted as the attendent was sitting behind the desk and on the phone, laying our key on the counter without any response. We were not provided with pillow cases for two nights and were spoken to rudely twice, when this was questioned. Upon parting, there was not any hint of appreciation for the 3 nights we stayed. I was so disappointed- I researched hotels in Paris for weeks and decided on the Hotel Renoir due to the location and what I imagined, based on their website, was a friendly, English speaking staff. I have friends that will visit Paris in the near future and this will not be my recommendation. My first stay in Paris....Clean, small rooms, with an "Take it up with the manager." or "What do you want me to do?" attitude. Karen Swink

The only thing I have to tell is: In my reservation it was wrote that the price was with bed and breakfast inclusive. Well, when I did my chekc in tehye confirm it but when I did my check out they told me that it wasn't possible and that I had to pay the breakfast. I showed the e-mail from you and they said to me that Venere did the mistake because that price it was only in low season. Well, after a long conversation I said that I had the document confirming that the breakfast was included. It was a hard conversation, I had to ask for the constumer center in Paris, only after all stressful conversation they charge me the price that I had in my confirmation. It was the problem that I had. I realy don't know whos falt it was, but they should treat the client in a nicer way. Thanks for everything, and despite this little incovenience I apreciated your service.
