This is a really lovely charming hotel, in an excellent area. Easy to walk into the centre of Paris or stay in the less frantic left bank. We had a great stay in a lovely, spacious room with a nice 7th floor view. Only negative point was the ear-busting noise on Saturday night of hte bar across the road (but no probs on Fri or Sun). This is a lovely hotel!

Few minor issues, but otherwise a great hotel and very central. Night staff was very helpful. You can't hear the next room, but you can hear everything from the hallway. This was a particular bonus when we overheard our neighbours having a fight over his inability to satisfy her. That more than made up for the noise. Great small rooms. Very close to the metro and lots of shops. The showers have a tendancy to go scalding hot without notice which was my only real complaint.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation. Fantastic location in the Latin Quarter, easy walking distance to everything in Paris, but the Metro is close if you choose that instead. They were happy to recommend restaurants as well. The room was a little small for two of us, but we weren't in it that much.

We really enjoyed the ambiance and personality of this hotel. Room was in slight disrepair (peeling paint), but charming. Nice bathroom. Great location, reasonable price for what you get. The free wireless was very handy. Only quibble was noise: very loud people leaving the bar across the street at closing time, and bands playing audibly even through closed windows. We would stay here again. Try the Eric Kayser bakery on Rue Monge, and the Patisserie next to the Fromagerie & Charcuterie on Boulevard Saint-Germain.

The hotel is in a very good location, 5 mins walking to Notre Dame and the lovely St Germain Area. The Breakfast service was slow, there was only one member of staff and not enough tables when the hotel was full. The decor is very tasteful. The receptionist was helpful and reserved seats on the airport shuttle bus for us. Rooms needed a lick of paint, over all a good atmosphere there. Room was large for a room in Paris, I have been to Paris before and stayed at 4 star hotels with smaller rooms.

Stayed here on business, chose it because they had free Wifi internet access. One of the better 3 stars I've stayed in in Paris - friendly staff, nice rooms. I had a room facing the rue des Ecoles, and there was traffic noise at night, but this is normal for Paris. Good midprice restaurants nearby, particularly back towards the bd Saint-Germain. Value for money, recommended.

Nice and clean hotel. Air conditioning was not working and the heat was high. Noise at nights was really disturbing.

The room was NOT on order. Bathroom was faulty. During night I have been called to go in reception for troubles that I could have fixed in the early morning.
