I highly recomend this hotel. The location is excellent, as well as surroundings. You are in a walking distance to the most sites. The room we were staying was small but very nice, and extremelly quite. Overall we were very happy with our choice of hotel, and we will definitely return there again.

Me and my girlfriend spent 4 nights in this Mercure in March 2006, and all I can say is that we had… une experience terrifiante! We were robbed of Euro 500+ that we had left in the luggage in our hotel room. Frustrating as this was, the attitude of the hotel personnel was even worst. They took the whole issue quite lightly, and it wasn’t until I threatened that I wouldn’t pay that they escalated the issue to Accor’s upper management (Accor is the hotel chain Mercure belongs to). I found it extremely humiliating when the hotel manager offered us a free breakfast as a make-up attempt. She later on sent a bottle of champagne to our room, together with a hand-written note (now that I think of it, that was really nice of her), but by then I was already fuming, so I sent the bottle back. Wrong decision, as I had never before tasted champagne worth Euro 500+ the bottle... The Accor management is now helping us in dealing with the hotel’s insurance agency… PS In the light of what happened, I somehow wished there were some really bad things I could say about this hotel… there aren’t many. The location is excellent, the staff was otherwise polite and helpful, the room was nice and cosy (albeit the 4 stars rating is by European, not US standards).

Nice quiet hotel in a posh area of Paris. Don't bother with the breakfast, go out to one of the cafeas in the area, it's better quality for your money. Rooms were fair size. I'd go here again.

It was hot in Paris when we were staying there and the air-conditioning was down. While there was a portable fan at reception it was not offered to us to use.

We were delighted with the location and the room (a "superior") which we got for a great price in late March. Except for the person who checked us in, the "front desk" people were extremely nice, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
