Although we reserved well in advance, there was no record of our pre-paid reservation. We were squeezed into a garret type of room with very low ceiling (could not stand up.) The elevator did not reach this level, so luggage handling was difficult. We were very tired and the location was good for our mornng train departure, so we accepted this as the best we could do.

This hotel is close to the International Railway station were the Eurostar arrives/departs. The area was a bit rough and dirty but the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was terrific and the room was amply big enough for our family of four.

THe staff at the hotel were courteous, but we were not impressed with the area used for breakfast. It was very noisy even with the windows closed.

One staff member attending the front desk was very rude, the other staff members were extremely friendly and helpful and this hotel is a wonderful place to stay and is in an excellant location, but this particular man was probably one of the most rudest men I have met and left a bad taste in my mouth, just for this one fellow I would not consider returning to this hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk from Gare Du Nord. There is another Metro station about 5 minutes in the opposite direction. You can walk to Sacre Couer from the hotel and it is very easy to get around from here. The hotel is basic, with very small rooms, but the bathroom is brand new and well equipped, with a fantastic shower. There is also a balcony which gave us a nice view of the street below. Continental breakfast is self service and there is a great selection of food to choose from. We thought it was great value. I would recommend this hotel if you are in Paris for the weekend and just need somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep.

poor lighting in rooms; some staff were rude; breakfast was supposed to be ready by 6.30am, we had no breakfast on our day of departure as we had to leave for the airport by 7.15am. won't recommend to friends.
