The rooms were very small, and for the price, we could have found much better. The location was magnificent however. The hotel is extremely close to the Hotel les invalides and not far at all from the Musee Dorsey and the Louvre. Good restaurants also abound very nearby. The 11 euro breakfast leaves much to be desired. Decent metro access, but the RER station is a good trek away with luggage, but defintetely possible. We have found comparable hotels in Paris for around 80 euro. So, besides the location, there are definetely better deals to be had.

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally helpful, pleasant and professional. That and the location were the two best aspects of the stay. Great street, great neighborhood with good cafes and stores and bars, all very close to the Eifel Tower but not excessively crowded with tourists. The rooms are small and dreary but clean.

excellent, quiet base in paris. surprisingly accesible to everything, from cafés to hair saloons to the eiffel tower! the hotel is neat and cosy and the bathroom (of the room that we had) was so spacious and nicely kept, a girl who spends a lot of time in the bathroom (like me) would LOVE it! No elevators though so keep baggage light enough to be carried! Friendly english-speaking staff always ready to help. Prices could be a bit high but the whole stay was definitely worth it.

We were staying as a family and our two children wanted to see visit the Eiffel Tower. The hotel was in a perfect location for that. However, the taxi driver had difficulty finding it when we arrived from Gare de Lyon. The rooms were quite simple but fine, and the price was reasonable for Paris. We didn't bother with breakfast which was extra and there were plenty of patisseries nearby.

Le Pavillon is indeed a quaint set of rooms with an excellent location. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, the boat tours on the Seine, and get to the metro that takes one out to Versailles. All other areas were easily accessible by the metro as well.

Le Pavillion overall was clean but the quad room we were in was quite cramped with the second bed looking like it had been sort of stuck into an alcove (large bathroom though). Our room was on the 2nd floor, last one at the end of the hall, #14. I saw another quad which was more spacious mainly because it was more standard: two double beds adjacent to one another; it was adjacent to the stairs if someone wanted to request it. Given the cost in Paris, the value was good for what we paid. The staff was nice and accomodating. You could see the Eiffel tower from the sidewalk in front of the hotel. The breakfast was pricey, and we ate nicely down the street at a local cafe for much less. Our kids are 10 and 13--the bed in the tiny alcove was a little cramped, but the other quad room would have been perfectly fine. Very close to Metro and bus lines, which was quite convenient.

Business traveler. Good hotel with a special street view of the Eifel Tower. Everything was fine as far as I was concerned. My only reservation concerned the inexplicable banging of a hammer and shouting at 3 am in the morning. Please note that the hotel is not air conditioned, so you must leave the windows open. They open onto an alley where garbage is stored for various businessd establishments. There is no smell whatever, but people are pretty noisy when knocking those plastic garbage bins around. Don't use the Les Invalides metro station, it's closer to the La Tour Maubourg station.

Complaints: - No air conditioning in rooms, which obligates the guest to open windows. In result the noise from the street, and from travelers that seat until late hours of the night in the terrace, are loud and vivid, in particular on a Friday or Saturday. - Shower: No Shower curtain. Need to be careful of not spraying water everywhere in the bathroom. - 11 EURO for breakfast is too expensive, considering that the hotel is surrounding by great cafés and pastry shops. OVERALL: Awesome hotel in a great area of Paris. Overall this hotel is in a great location. Five minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, and public transportation. Good quality for the price paid. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I will definately return to this hotel!!

Brilliant location, everything you want to see in paris in a short time is in walking distance! Eiffel tower is really at the end of the street! You can sleep in this hotel, we have not spent much more time in there. For a long weekend it is perfect! Welcoming ppl and again great great location, and very quiet rooms. My first time in Paris, loved it!!!

We were in Paris for 2 1/2 days. Le Pavillion is a short (4-5 blocks) walk from the Eiffel Tower and 2 blocks around the corner from Metro access. Room was small but clean. Breakfast is adequate, not included in room price. Overall o.k. value for the location.
