First time in Paris, hotel is in a great location, 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. 4 minute walk to the Metro, close to main train line station (Luxembourg) for connection to Charles De Gaulle airport RER line B. Extremely pleasant & helpful staff.

The Hotel is quite good!!Rooms are very little but they have a lovely atmosphere!!Confortable and situated in the heart of the Latin area!!Very clean and refined!!Perfect for young couples but also for families with a bit of spirit of adaptability!!

Although the room was tiny, it was fine. The location of the hotel is excellent & the staff are very friendly & speak good English. I would much rather go to a small hotel like this than a huge "chain" hotel.

If I were you I would give this one a miss. There are much nicer hotels in the vacinity for the same price. The hotel is in a good location and that is it. Being a regular visiter to Paris I understand that you will not get luxury for this kind of money. I do however expect the place to be clean and the beds to made every day. The bed was never made in the four days we were there. The carpet was very dirty, the wallpaper hanging off and you could not even sit on the toilet it was so close to the wall. We had booked this hotel again for the summer but that is cancelled. To top off our stay here when we went to check out a 6.30am the person on the desk did not know how to work the card machine. I then had to go out and find a cashpoint and take cash out which I then got charged an overseas transaction fee rather than using my Credit Card. Go somewhere else they don't deserve your money.

I was traveling with my 17-year-old daughter on vacation. We felt very secure in both the hotel and in the neighborhood around the hotel. It was extremely close to the metro and within easy walking of Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc. The room and the bathroom were small but clean. We spent very little time in the hotel so the size wasn't an issue. I found the staff to be very accomodating. I would definitely stay at the de la Sorbonne again.

Great location, in a quiet street opposite the back of the Sorbonne. Despite having a room overlooking the street, it was pretty peaceful. Excellent base for luxembourg, St Germain, Pantheon and Mouffetard areas, with an RER stop around the corner. Staff very friendly and room fine (if a little small as is usual in Paris).

We enjoyed our stay very much - typically this hotel is for those tourists / business men who use it only for sleep at night. Very nice, kind staff - only problem is space in room, especially in bathroom. A smaller washbasin would help it, since bathroom is small anyway, but washbasin is too big for no real reason i see. On other hand, the room looks very nice (floor carpet and wallpaper, furnitures - made from wood). There is a TV in room, but only french programmes available - would be an improvement to make at least some english channels to be able to see news etc. in the morning. Overall opinion is that this is a nice hotel, worth to come again and to suggest to others.

The surroundings are good, and the hotel is clean and enough, but the rooms haven´t got fridge, neither enough wardrove and drawers because the room is so small, though the bathroom is the smallest i´ve ever seen.

The hotel is well placed for the RER and the Metro and easy walking distance to Notre Dame. The surrounding area is filled with eating places and feels safe at night. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
