The hotel was clean and tasteful, and the staff was fine (although they didn't seem to speak any english). The room was VERY small, but that was only a problem because we had a baby cot in the room too. Otherwise it would have been fine. The street is quiet and seemed safe, and the hotel is close to a metro stop and is in a nice little neighborhood.

The hotel has the practice of hidden prices. In the room the prices displayed for different services are totaly different than the fees that the hotel charges. They stole 100 Euros from me for the phone. The price on their list of prices for the phone is 0.36 cents/ minut. Based on this I spoke on the phone in France, Canada , Europe. Finally they charged me a huge price and refused to show me the cost for a phone call in Canada or France. So I wouldn't recomand to anyone Hotel De la Paix. They don't speak English so definitely is not a 3 stars hotel.

Room was very small but clean and nicely furnished. Staff efficent and friendly. Metro stations nearby meant it was convenient for getting about, otherwise it was about a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. Breakfast was extra, which wasn't explained on arrival, but it was good value.

Location is good as the Hotel is only a few minutes walk to the Metro. Rooms were very clean if smallish. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was limited but I suppose good value for the price.
