The buffet breakfast was a let down especially as on the 2nd and 3rd morning there was no fresh fruit, the coffee was luke warm, only 2 packs of vacumn sealed cheese and a few slices of meat and the tables were not cleared. As the eating area is very small this was needed. Very poor but the staff are very pleasent. Not happy that when you returned late at night you asked for your room key and it was handed over without asking your name,

Good location for metro/train and ryanair bus, Friendly staff. Breakfast overpriced considering that there was nothing left if you went late and tables had not been cleared. Would breakfast outside hotel if going again. Nevertheless good value for money overall.

the room was a bit squeezed for space, but the bathroom was very clean and modern. As non smokers we noticed the taint in the furnishings (by the end of our holiday we were more used to it). It was our first night in France so we weren't sure of the reaction to English speaking tourists but to our delight we found the staff (and the entire neighbourhood) very friendly. Ate outdoors in a lovely restaurant on the corner.Very nice atmosphere in this area. I would stay there again.

I found the Etoile Saint Ferdinand to be very clean and quiet and the staff to be courteous and helpful. The location was excellent for Le Palais des Congres and the price much more reasonable than near by hotels. Overall, a most enjoyable stay.
