Room very small, with moquette with a lot of old strates of dusty. A lot of rumors. WC doesn't working. The rate is to much for what we say in italian a "topaia" like this.

The room was TINY compared to the one in the pictures. There was hardly any space to walk, you had to border the bed, and the bathroom was clean , byt incredebly small. the mini bar did not work. BEDS WERE TERRIBLE! just like sleeping in the countryside. however, its location is really good, loads of places to eat, drink. Buses and metro nearby.

The room was located on the top floor and has a section facing the street which is very narrow, because the form of the roof. this hotel has the small elevatar I saw in my life. The Aurore Montmatre is close to the Metro Line, whats make easy to go to any place in the City of Paris.

We found this hotel to be a great introduction to Paris.While the rooms were compact the staff were very helpful and the place really does have a Parisian feel about it. We were a family from Australia on our first stay in Paris and were a little nervous that the area may be a bit unsuitable but we found it to be a lively interesting area to stay.Very close to the metro which takes you all over the city.The only real down side was the extremely compact lift(but better than none at all!!)

Location wise was ok.. Just the the whole hotel had this Brylcreem type smell which was quite disturbing. The web perception was no where close to the actual place.

This location is fine for travelers who do not expect much. The staff is extremely helpful although not enough so to make up for horrible beds and smelly bathrooms!
