Small room and rather scruffy, but about average for cheap Paris hotels. Scores excellently for location though - right next to Republique metro and even after the metro stops at night, a reasonable walk from the Mairie.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The prices charged were way too much for the very poor quality of this hotel. Nothing in the toilet works well. TV did not work. The beds, sheets and towels smelled bad. The hotel was simply too run down. Strongly suggest this hotel be removed from your list permamantly.

Staff very friendly and helpful indeed. The rooms, reception etc could benefit from some decoration.

The location is great! Very close to Metro Republique. There is a handy convenience shop nearby to buy drinks. L'autre Cafe which is close is a must see/dine in. Night service available. Taxi rank close by - tho' the hotel would not reserve a taxi for us - thumbs down. Overall a pleasant place.

we were supplied torn dirty towels. we were not give soap every day. and the staff was not v. helpful or polite. i would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends

The walls in the room are mouldy and in need of fresh coat of paint, has a stale smell in room and the wall lights are all taken out to save electricity. The bathroom is the worst, not only is it mouldy but it has got cob webs everywhere above the low wooden ceiling and the bathroom floor floods. We were put on the 5th floor and the lift doesn't work, perhaps they shut it down to save electricity again. I am really disappointed with this hotel, it is not even worth rating it two stars and I would not have recommend it to anyone if I were you.

Very basic, pillows in short supply, ended up buying our own. Looks as though they may be decorating,it certainly needs it. Location very good - just round the corner from Republique Metro Station.

Very dirty environment, the paint was peeling, the TV wasn't working, the elevator wasn't working, the curtains were falling. It did not look like what it claimed to be: newly renovated. On top of unfriendly service. We will not stay there again. It is overpriced for this kind quality.

Small!! You can barely fit under the shower, and two people + bags + bed and the room is full. Still, what can you expect from a cheap(ish) room in Paris....

A bit run down with telly and lift breakdowns. Noisy part of town but good location for walking to bars/retaurants. Probably better off paying more for nicer surrounds.
