This hotel is in great need of refurbishment. The carpet and upholstery were filthy. The bed cover had loose threads hanging from it. The furniture in poor condition. The shower curtain hanged too low in in the bath and was disgusting. The loo seat was chipped. While we were staying there the dirty bathroom door was repainted and some paint dripped on the tiles. You could see it had been a nice hotel, the staff were very pleasant . It is in a very quiet location very convenient for transport and full of people even late at night. It is overpriced compared to the other hotels in the same street. Do not go there until it has been brought back to its advertised standard.

Location of hotel is fantastic, subway very close by and within walking distance to tourist attractions. Great breakfast and extremely helpful front desk staff. Rooms were small, which was to be expected in Paris. Clean facilities.

1) Note that the prices does not include breakfast (EUR 12 pp). Breakfast although relatively expensive is good. 2) AC/heating systems didn't work as they should: it was close to impossible to set the right temperature in the room. 3)The room was relatively small.

Hotel is well located, with many hotels in the area, near Grand Boulevards metro, a great variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and street markets. There is a real life to the area and it is a pleasure to return to the hotel and environs. The hotel has a good breakfast which sets you up for the day, and very helpful desk staff. Our room was not large but the bathroom was newly refurbished with excellent fittings and was very warm, as was the room.
